This Keyboard Has NO BUSINESS Sounding This Good

I was excited to build this. Truly. This is the KBDCraft Lilith and it's LEGO compatible and basically made of them. I have been eyeing this board for a while, and at the same time was curious to see how this would sound and feel. Well, it was insane. It has no business sounding as good as it does, and it feels solid too because of the simple gasket system they are using. But what stands out here the most? Well, the sheer enjoyment of building the board. It brought back some great memories of building with blocks as a child.
The unit they sent me had one small flaw on it, and sadly it was a piece that was visible on the top. I hope to not see that in future pieces and have brought that up in the stream.
The cost is great for what you get, 64.99 USD (89.85 ish CAD) get you the base kit, or you can opt for EVERYTHING which will run you 109.99 USD or 152 (ish) CAD before shipping. And by everything you get some decently thick double shot keycaps, and switches that are pre lubbed. I suggest relubing them though.
Now while I did try some expensive keycaps on this, I did end up swapping to the PBT ones (as you can see in the pictures) and my god does it still sound SO good.

I've built 3 Kit Adams, 2 as gifts where I put together the PCBs, switches and keycaps while "forcing" the recipients to build out the (faux-LEGO) cases. The one Kit Adam I kept I used authentic LEGO pieces for the case and it has been modded to no longer remember the original. The great thing about LEGO is the sky's the limit! Next I'd love to build the Lilith case with LEGO pieces and then mod from that. What a fun keyboard.

So glad to hear the Lilith sounds just as great for the price as the Adam! I heavily modified my KitAdam to fit the plant aesthetic of my PC and setup and it's ended up being such a good introduction to my friends that like Lego and want to have a custom keyboard for cheap that I ended up having to create a build guide for my modified version and have been handing it out to them for their own builds lol

That keyboard holder can also be turned into a Tablet holder for the keyboard if you think about it. It's lego in the end, you can do anything with it.

It has arrow keys....what else do you want? The extra 2 or 3 keys can easily be remapped to the FN combo. I see no difference here.
