This is a VERY novel and niche keyboard. I hope it finds the audience it deserves, it seems it has already. But I do think it needs some more work put into it. I do think for a regular everyday typing experience this is tricky one. This could be good if they continue to work on the keycap, and I hope they do. As of right now, the thoughts expressed in my video pretty much states how I feel about this.

They did say they are working on a final version of the “keyboard tray” and I would be interested to see that before I personally would buy it. I also dabbled with changing settings like the background video and the animations off stream. It was simple enough, albeit a bit tedious. It’s really just dropping files into the keyboard and labeling them accordingly.

This Keyboard could be great for people which speak multiple languages with different writing systems. I speak German, Lithuanian, Russian and English (UK). I would not use it as a main keyboard, but one for scenarios where i have to switch between layouts.

@@MeLikesWindows drawing tablets are just a screen that sends the data of where the screen has a change in pressure, so whatever app you're running will respond accordingly. AKA just use the default virtual keyboard and set the drawing tablet as the input device and it works just fine

I think their real market for this should be as a competitor to the elgato stream deck instead of a regular keyboard to type on. Then later they could release extra keycap overlay layout things to make macro pads with different clusters/groupings of buttons, larger/smaller buttons, a cutout section to touch the screen directly to use a portion of it like a laptop's touchpad while the rest is still buttons, or whatever else people could think of.

This might see mass production in the future for one reason: factories especially in countries where standard alphabet isn't common can reduce additional production of keyboards that have nonstandard alphabet/letter/character They just need to produce one keyboard and that's it. However as said, tactile feedback is essential, and not just for gamers.

Some of the things he considered "tacky", I honestly really liked. The vents that also double as lights are very ingenious, the side lights also look cool, I quite like the thickness (even though I'm pretty sure that's a wrist killer in the longrun), and the magnets I'm pretty sure have to be loose, at least a bit, because if you don't have them loose you need an indent that's more difficult to access. Also the magnets it comes with look pretty cute. I simply do not like the concept of a touch keyboard because I was raised on touch-typing.

Okay I WILL SAY - if the future of technology is to just use touch controls for everything (I'm looking at you, car dashboards), I think the integration of tactical controls that overlay the screen is a clever accessibility feature But then we get into the difference between using third party ones which won't keep up with the UI design as good as the first party ones which will undoubtedly be more expensive, then you've got the longevity of them which may result in having to swap them out, and they most definitely will only be compatible with the right models, but then there's the "oh let's market it as a safety feature cuz you dont wanna have to look at the screen while driving" so they upsell it even MORE - and so you're paying for a more expensive touch controls AND add ons when we could have just had normal buttons in the first place- Anyways cool keyboard

kinda in the same boat, even with LED's on everything. used to be into it when i was a kid but now it just feels tacky. same with LCD screens on your case. sure i could but why though? it's nicer i think to have a small one with a temp gauge somewhere inside for your proc/gfx card and have a glass panel, then to have a whole side panel displaying an image for no reason. plus it adds a ton of weight. and there is something so nice about having my clicky clacks. feels much more responsive to me even in a gaming sense. that said i think this would make a great keyboard for my niece or a kid. especially with the little emoticons thing going on it ships with. BUUUUT 350 for a keyboard that seconds as a tablet? na, ill just get her a tablet at that price. can get a whole barebones kit and build her pc for 350.
