Thanks for the video. I ordered one yesterday and looking forward to receiving it next week.

I also ordered one and hope i made a good choice. My complaint about the Kreg is the expensive track ($99 for 1 while Powertec sells a set of 2 with the connectors included for $135 for the Makita) and the absurdly expensive connectors that you have to buy separately ($40 while Powertec sells their version for the Makita for $14). So for the Kreg you pay $100 more, which makes the Kreg's set as expensive as the Makita set.

@@Bur-D Definitely agree with you - they are getting you big time on the "accessories" that are required for it.

And it is designed for right handed people

Hadn't really thought about that - and I should because my wife is a lefty, but you are right. This is not a great tool if you are left handed!

Does yours make a grinding sound? I just bought the ACS 3000 but my saw seems to run slower than I'm used to and it makes a grinding sound.

Hey Jimmy! There is No grinding on mine. Check and make sure the blade is on tight. If so, you might want to get yours swapped out if its new.

Good video, except for the part where I lost my hearing at the beginning and end.

Sorry about that, Rich! This was my first attempt at making a real KZbin video. Hopefully you got some helpful information out of it. I promise my videos will be better in the future and hope you will give me another chance!
