I'm in love with this show. The romantic scenes in particular feel incredibly natural and so intimate, I've had to look away a couple of times... I don't think in my 40 years of gaying around on planet earth so far I've seen anything like it. Okay, I will admit that I am a 75 y/o lesbian who has been totally into this series. Don't know how many of us are out there watching this. In episode 8, I found myself LOL on several occasions. Then in the final scenes, almost crying. In your wonderful recap, you got me at 'Sometimes Lesbianism causes nosebleeds.' Agree that Freen and Becky were spot on in their characters in this episode.

If you read the book, Jim more explicitly had a thing for Sam, including once confessing to her when they were teens, which made her involvement in making it happen that much funnier to me because she was really like "girl if you don't do this I'm gonna do it" to Mon which I do think helped motivate her to be more receptive. 😂 It was also a bit more explicit in the book that they both knew they wanted to have sex but were feeling too awkward and shy at first until Jim came through with the alcohol to help them push through. I really appreciate the way the director has handled the kiss and love scenes so far, he just lets Freen and Becky do their thing within the confines of the general script, and I think that's why it ends up feeling so natural and beautiful.

The novel was fine, to say the least. It is based on a classic trope, plus, since we could not read the original version (Thai version), the translated version is written like a 5-minute daily journal of C- student in literature. The only thing that makes this show huge and magnificient are the mind-blowing chemistry between Becky and Freen and the scrupulous work of the production team.

It part of the GAP Universe. It's about Sam's eldest sister, Neung. The PLOT is PLOTTING in this story and it's just 3 episodes in. Haha. Also, regardless if you like the series or not, I feel like you'll love Neung/Khun Neung and the actress portraying her. *There are quite a few reactors who have dismissed the series after just watching the teaser and based on how the younger character Aneung was behaving and it made some feel uncomfortable... but personally, it's becoming my most favorite GL series (so far). The storytelling in great and the leads, Faye and Yoko (Khun Neung/Ar-Neung and Aneung) are so perfect for their roles. They're such great aactors/actresses. In case you don't like the series, maybe you could try watching some compilations of their interviews and interactions in allthai's YT channel. You can search for FayeYoko videos in allthai's YT channel. (You can see how significantly high/greater the views of FayeYoko videos even if these 2 videos have only been uploaded a few days ago). Also, if in case you're/you'll be interested in knowing more about Faye (Fai) [she plays Khun Neung/Ar-Neung], you can watch her subtitled interview called ENJOY TALK ep06 here on YT.
