I went to Bali a few years ago, the people are very nice. I believe Bali is quite different from the main peninsula. The food was very good.

Surabi in the western part of Java are usually firm and chewy, and the people there prefer to have them savory. In Central Java, they prefer their serabi sweet and gooey. I like both versions, but I know someone from Central Java who lives in West Java who absolutely despises the firm surabi found in the province 😆

Kalau di daerah Majalengka, Cirebon dan sekitar makan surabi itu pasti asin. Yang klasiknya, surabi putih biasa makan pake sambel oncom atau gorengan. Surabinya juga lebih padat, asin daripada surabi yang manis.
