Great video, as always with lessons it might come and go but if you stick to the markers he gave you, you've got some great drives ahead. Make sure you re watch this video from time to time so you don't creep back to ott or too shallow. Love live lesson videos 👍

Well done Dennis...some great looking drives in there. You've got some good tips to work on there and no doubt the consistency will come with the practice. All the best.

Thanks for sharing Dennis, had my first proper lesson today. Irons first, then the big stick, it’s killing my game also. Keep up the great content

Really interesting. Like you, I’ve switched from slice to hook and couldn’t understand what was going on. Learnt a lot from this one. Thanks to you and your coach!

@ please stick with driver on the course and keep your the lessons. Being able to get the ball in play 250yards is a real game changer in terms of scoring. Your hcp will come down fast.

Loving that impact position rehearsal. Better body movement with left hip going back giving space simply to swing through and complete turn.

Really interesting. My struggle at the moment is actually starting the back swing.
@AlonzoHarris9015 күн бұрын
I feel you. worked the last year on it...what made all the difference for me was to get the basics right. grip, stance, ball position, distance to ball. once I got good at these things. backswing start was becoming way more natural and instinctive. might not be your situation but maybe it can help. good luck

Do you have the first lesson on KZbin? Going from out to in to that is pretty impressive
@BogeyGolfUK13 күн бұрын
@@powerrocker1 I don’t but I can tell you my previous path was largely caused by a lack of hip rotation. I had no room to create anything close to a neutral path

Great video, it feels sooo awkward when you make a change to your swing, your practice swings look very natural but sometimes when you hit the shot it looks very contrived, there's always that balance between "grip it and rip it" and "paralysis by analysis". You hit the ball so damn far though, I'm jealous, I'm a straight hitter but short, you're a long hitter but wayward why is it soooo bloody difficult! Never the less I always enjoy your videos..Thanks.

I like bowed rather then cupped all day… you was hitting it lovely with the over draw. So why don’t you just open the face at address? Keep it simple, just open the face more and do the same swing. 🤷🏼♂️👍

No one changes in one lesson. It can be a little step.....but the rest is exageration. Golf is about increasing one's own physical, mental and self-awareness skills, one small step at a time....if you want constant improvement. Some don't even really care about real improvement. They've been at virtually the same level for many years....
@BogeyGolfUK14 күн бұрын
Yeah it’s all about repetitions now
@joeidaho593814 күн бұрын
@@BogeyGolfUK You're peeling the onion. The next "this lesson changes everything" will happen again....when you're ready....lol. That's been my experience in golf, without a doubt. The lessons never end, if someone wants to keep improving.
@BogeyGolfUK14 күн бұрын
@ 100%! For me having the driver in the bag is a huge change. We’re all in it for the long haul!!
@joeidaho593814 күн бұрын
@@BogeyGolfUK Driver is good....lol. Makes a huge difference when you can hit it well. I struggled with it also earlier this year, but got a handle on it now. Hitting better distance is clearly the next step for me. For me, one of the key things was staying loose....especially with my legs and knees...and aiming and following through properly, of course. My biggest struggle is when I don't want to hit 100% with the driver. When I try to take something off the shot, I botch up the timing, for some reason. I should probably be hitting another club...lol. My miss is opposite of yours. If I don't follow through properly, I'm hitting a bit of a slice or strong fade.
