Also sorry if you feel frustrated during the 2nd half, I should've included a checkpoint for that part but that level was made after like a year of not making levels so I kinda looked through it. Edit: I read a lot of comments about the level, so I decided to reupload it with a 2nd checkpoint: FFD-0D2-J2G. Should make it less frustrating. Also the level is about flowers since Halzion is a flower.

My theory is that they put timers on auto scrollers for the faster music that adds a sense of urgency. . It's in the spirit of that nightmare everyone has had where you are trying to run from some danger but no matter how hard you try you move slow while the danger creeps closer and closer.

There's a one-way behind that door, so you can't enter it without being 1 block tall (if you duck then you can't open the door).

Idk if the maker was aware but many developers do this thing where the player is tricked into playing it the hard way when there's a much easier way to clear or defeat an enemy. It's an art but I always wondered what the correct term is.

hey ryu, you might wanna try out pseudoregalia, it's a 3D platformer metroidvania. some of the platforming is pretty hard, and i can confirm there's a lot of cheese to make, pretty much everywhere.

game seems pretty good based on the steam reviews (couple negative reviews are people complaining about mechanics they misunderstood and one dude ranting about an optional assist mode). Probably won't buy it myself since it's a tad pricey (16 USD) for what seems to be 10-20 hours of gampelay. To be fair I'm comparing it to the other platformers I have played which were all masterpieces
