Thank you for asking the question, I didn't know either.
@momsnoteatingbugs1919 Жыл бұрын
It’s the district postcode for the City of London (not to be confused with with London as a whole) and The City Of Westminster. Basically the equivalent of our areas of Virginia and Maryland where all the DC politicians, lobbyists, etc live. In short, where all the $$ is. So it’s just like here. All the money votes for policies that they demand we follow and that they never do and that their money and connections always shields them from.
@Jonpoo1 Жыл бұрын
@@momsnoteatingbugs1919 it’s not the postcode* for the City (which is EC) but for Westminster, Whitehall and the areas surrounding it. So when this guy says it won’t go down well in SW1 he means that it won’t be popular with parliament and probably the civil service too. He later refers to wider London which would include the City and its surrounding wealthy cosmopolitan liberal areas. *Postcode is kind of an irrelevant term for a for a foreigner and just refers to the area code which the postal service allocates to certain areas. Only in London and maybe other large cities is it used to refer to an area. It links to the complex British class system because any Londoner will have a good vocabulary of desirable postcodes and house/rental prices associated with it. Also important for London gangs who will refer to postcodes to establish an individual’s origin, neighbourhood and likely gang affiliations.

No cheap labour then inflation rises and people pay more. You'll get the same with different figures. But then, as has shown with brexit, labour shortage is real because we can't find enough native workers to do the hard, low paying jobs. This in turn adds an extra layer to inflation. It's how it is so you either have to allow migrant workers, force layabouts to do it which is going to be a complete shambles or end up paying a lot more for a lot less choice.

Hello Spectator! 😉 some economic tips below! 🤔: (a) What would happen if reserves were required to correspond to the liquidation value of the collateralized assets? (b) What would happen if an asset could only be collateralized once? (c) What would happen if credit expansion must come from the treasury, not from expansion? (d) what would happen if consumer loans were directly issued (statistically) at zero interest for durable goods? (e) what would happen if the treasury provided banking for the 'bankless'? (f) What would happen if liquidity was delivered directly to consumers instead of banks? (g) What would happen if we nationalized all health care, insurance, pensions, and college debts, converting to the Singapore model? (h) What if we re-created the Work Progress Administration in each state? For the sole purpose of the beautification of the commons We know. I got a little response to this thread but not as much as I'd expect. The point here is that the treasury would benefit from gains, while the banks and investors would pay for losses, which provide the state with revenues earned instead of taxes, and end socialization of losses. The market correct itself so no financial crises the mistakes are not done. This was the case before we lefted the gold Ending Financial Predation!😉: t.co/dKbY40fCfz

The US is on-shoring manufacturing, but even with Gen Z entering the workforce there will be a labor shortfall of at most, 50,000,000 people. So the US needs to import as many cheap illegals as they can to replace the Chinese workforce. Grant them free government healthcare, (which they couldn't afford otherwise) and they'll be healthy and productive, and the government can declare it a massive win for "equity and inclusion" and a big win against the Earth's climate. And if people don't cooperate, ramp up the fear of the climate rapture, or release a flu-like pathogen. No matter what, their agenda will be achieved.
