This Line will be INSANE (Slafkovský, Caufield, Suzuki)
The Montréal Canadiens new first line of Juraj Slafkovský, Cole Caufield, and Nick Suzuki has a lot of potential. The creation of this line was one of the most positive parts of the Habs 2023-2024 season. In my opinion, this line has the potential to compete as one of the best first lines in the entire NHL in the future. This line was a big part of Juraj Slafkovský being able to take the next step in his development. Also, all three of them were able to set new career highs in goals, assists, and points. I’m looking forward to seeing what this line could do next season for the Montréal Canadiens.

@@justinbrien923 it all depends on what he will do in his 3rd season. If he gets 70-80 points, I think he could get $7million per season.

I mean, you can technically make predictions about anything. How many predictions are wrong? I can claim each year that the Leafs will win the cup, but one day, it is bound to actually happen. Should I feel special when it happens? Predictions being correct is more about luck and coincidence. People often base their predictions on theory, but what happens practically is often different. Some people intentionally go against the grain because it makes the most interesting phenomenons and yields the best betting money, for example. How many people in the world correctly predict playoff brackets? And of those that are 100% successful, how many correctly predict the amount of games needed? Predictions seem pointless to me. They mean nothing. But to be fair, I am very happy that Slaf is showing promise. How many people actually hate him though? I am not saying that he is on the same level as McDavid or Bedard, but how many people actually predicted that those two would be busts? Edit: After checking his stats, it is not that beast. Hopefully in the future though. He is still so young.

Suzuki is so good, he makes everyone around him better. And he's sneaky quiet about it. He's one of the most under-rated centers in the league, in my opinion. I would love to see what they do next year too, but im not sure we will see that line next year. Depending who we draft this year, and who we trade for. If we get a 50 goal guy, they aren't going to put him on the 2nd line. But im not holding my breath for that one! lol. We have 14 D, and a ton of draft capital, hopefully they make a trade to get that elusive goal scorer, if we had two 40-60 goal guys on the team, the rebuild would pretty much be complete, if goaltending doesnt hold up, we have a couple really good goalies coming up. The future is looking good, it's good to see, ive been a Habs fan for 45 years, and Im tired of knowing we aren't making the playoffs while we're still in preseason.

its the same line since 4 months ( more then half season) and its not *INSANE ...not discrediting your work but just saying it is already a max potential case the last half season suzuki get around 35 points and 28 for slafy and its not gonna be way better then now except if you add dach to the first line again or it means caufield would be on a second line with newhook and armia or anderson ...rhp or dvorak

Ben voyons, Caufield ne fera pas long feu dans la LNH... Il ne sait même pas jouer au hockey. Dans les collèges américains , ils n' apprennent pas jouer au hockey. En plus, 40 parties par saison , ça ne prépare à la LNH.
