I think, the greatest and most overlooked part of Barkov is that he elevates everyone else around him. Take Verheagy, before Barkov and after Barkov as teammate. Huberdeau? Reinhart? I mean all of those players are beasts in their own right, but I think it's Barkovs ability to read his linemates so well that he can elevate their game to next level

He’s insanely good and will be even better once his frame fills out. Would like to see him improve his skating fundamentals and not pass up on shots so often but those are about the only criticisms I have of him.
