Got stone golems to instantly recover. I suspect that the game checks every now and then if an enemy is still staggered and if that time is right after you staggered him it might instantly break. But could be anything else as well :)

@@RoughB8 That's a good theory. My theory is that it had something to do with him being to close too the pine tree and he couldn't finish the animation so he just went back to normal. I wouldn't be surprised, pine trees were constantly trying to sabotage me this episode. xD

Mining copper sucks always has but silver is something you should dig out completely and then mine it that will collapse it all. Hire the troll to mine for you :P great vid

I remember seeing that Silver is collapsible now, I think that's what gave me the idea that copper might be as well. Guess I'll just keep dreaming. ;[ Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed! ;D

Take heart, the muddy piles are much softer so iron is easier to get and the collapsing silver is wonderful. Silver is sooooo easy now.

i like your content, you deserve more subs. have you thought about a no boss run getting all end game weapons? I'm trying it. so far got fully upgraded root armor. next step is to clip through crypt and mine iron. with silver I have to get very lucky and mine in random places. last stage shouldn't be a problem

I've had copper fully break but only if I have a sizable clearance between the floating copper and the sides/ground. Then I hit it on top like I do with silver. However...copper's a pain because it's usually too hard to dig deep enough around/underneath it because of the dig limits that are imposed. I just dig around the perimeter now and stopped trying to dig underneath because it's a general hassle...

For sure. I was just testing it out because I saw that silver can be collapsed now, so I figured it would be the same for copper. I'm just gonna stick with working my way top to bottom on these nodes. It's still painful, but it doesn't seem as painful as digging underneath and trying to guess which deposit is the magic one that will collapse the whole node. Dx

@@slipsloptv Exactly! I also was trying to have the Troll hammer away for me but lol...that takes about as long and he only gets the top cap of copper... Now I just kill everything... let me dig away in peace lol.

My latest playthrough, at first I only found five (or six, whatever) surtling cores, so I made a kiln, burned a literal ton of charcoal, and then used the cores to smelt some copper and tin. Because I am impatient. :D

Is it faster to just hit the copper ore or to clear out the area and then blast the copper?

Honestly, starting at the top of the node and working your way down is the fastest and easiest way to mine copper. Digging out the bottom would be quicker if the whole node would collapse the moment it's separated from the ground, but it's too unreliable at the moment.
