I'm seeing so much of film score in this. Like Gladiator or other emotional soundtracks, they are like this. Video games of course too, for example the Beyond: Two Souls theme comes to my mind. Hans Zimmer does the same thing in his studio. I see no fundamental difference between those two, I see the same talent inside Frank that I see and what is obvious in Hans. The same instinct for building soundtracks like these. The difference is, that Hans has a big studio with 1000s of tracks and the best instruments one can have. And other artists to support him as well. And he has a lot of training of course, and recognition to offer him all these opportunities to play around with organs or instruments in a creative way. But put Frank into exactly the same position, and give him 5 years of training in that. I see the same fundamental talent in both. Oh, and I have to say, I really like Hans, that shouldn't come off as privileged or something - it was only his talent that brought him where he is. Essentially, I would see Frank as a very potential recruit to follow Hans' footprints after he retires.

KZbin algorithm strikes again! Where have I been all this time? Such amazing music. This is how Hans Zimmer must be doing it as well. Just fiddling around on the keyboard until something comes up, and then trying out first with some instruments and refining further. He just has recognition and a studio with 1000s of layers and the best instruments and tools at hand. But Frank... you have it too. that instinct for what should come when and where to build up an epic soundtrack. 4 tracks only, and a few instruments from two keyboards is limiting. When hearing this, just imagine what could be done with more editing and the best instruments one can have. With fine details in between, transitions and other backing layers. I just see through the thing itself, and the potential itself that is there to do is, exists. Like at 21:28, coming up with that just like that, then adding the drums that are just exactly right, and then the transition to the full thing at 22:12 again. That's a sense to me about the music, that is just there waiting to do more, given the opportunities to do so. I see no fundamental difference between Hans and Frank here. It's just that Hans has a lot of training of course, and has the tools and opportunities. But when they're inside their "studios", they essentially do the same thing.

With a tiny bit of work this could be transcribed into sheet music for an orchestra. That main theme on the brass and woodwinds would sound epic. Horns and Trombone with Tuba, Bassoon, Oboe and a bit of clarinet on top. Marimba and Piano and strings for all that background stuff and the guy on the timpani and snare. Frank you should do that. Just plug it into sibelius and mop up whatever sibelius gets wrong.
