When she was first brought to the Agency, she wanted to help the other variant. And when they reunited she asked him if he was ok.

"Hel" with one L is for "Helheim" or sometimes spelled "Helheimr" similar to Jotunheim/Jotunheimr. This is the realm of the dead in Norse mythology and is typically ruled by Hel (person) aka Hela, Goddess of Death. We saw a glimpse of the realm in Thor: Ragnarok when Loki dives into Valkyrie's memories. We do however get the modern pronunciation of "Hell" from the same word but this was likely Christianity conflating two different religious iconographies/concepts into one.

It created a nexus event because the machine was recalibrated. Mobius literally tells b-15 that when they're looking at it. The new parameters were put in and should be able to detect someone stepping on the wrong leaf. He knew they were in apocalypses and adjusted the settings to hunt them down within them. Regardless of the timeline, so long as something happened that wasnt supposed to happen, it should've kicked off the branch. Their emotional connection was way worse than someone just stepping on the wrong leaf and he literally tells loki that it was that connection that caused the nexus event, when they're talking in loki's loop. And no he's not falling in love with himself. They're 2 variants of the same being but clearly two completely different individuals. She's the complete opposite of him.

The Loki at the end in the most ridiculous costume was the classic, comic book version of Loki. This version was always a villain, and when you cast Richard E. Grant to play him, it makes me highly suspicious that he's going to turn out to be the one who's behind the TVA and everything going on with them. If you go back to the scene where Mobius is reviewing footage on the stolen tempad, you can see that it's color scheme is green and gold. Do we really think that's just a coincidence?

And not, Sylvie is not only female version of Loki, her character is much deeper and more complicated, that's why our Loki fell for her. She is definitely another person than him, and she is from another timeline. I'm sure that even their parents are not related genetically. I was so amazed at your reaction of the post-credit scene... You get me hyped up I love all of your electric energy for Loki reaction!!! The 3rd episode was necessary for character development between Loki and Sylvie which we learn now was needed to give weight for what happen in the forth episode. Marvel understand that character development is more important than empty action this is why their movies are more successful than most because their viewers has a connection to their characters and these Disney Plus series are making these characters more loveable than the movie ones and it's spoil viewers who just want mindless action with big explosions but that's not Marvel's DNA. Norse Methodology Loki did cut Sif's hair and that angered Thor and he made Loki replace her hair with strings of gold A good sign of good writing when you hear what seem to be an odd throw away line like Sylvie saying she don't like sitting with her back to the door and finding out later the TVA took her when she was a little girl playing with her toys with her back to the door which give that line more weight... You stating the rings from the glass might mean something later maybe there is other Mobius. I notice the writer for Loki also write Rick and Morty and both series are being released each day a weekly Loki on Wednesday and R&M on Sunday and they both have similar themes with time travel, portals and apocalypses.

Has anyone noticed the background of the time keepers abode, that red design? It looks like one of those runes in Agatha's place, what if that's what prohibits magic from working in there? And if that's the case, couldn't Wanda be the one behind this? I know most people are saying Kang but so far these shows haven't been doing those kinds of big reveals, so, keeping it simple, Wanda was studying the Dark Hold, and she heard the voices of her children, who are possibly in another universe or some such thing, she finds them and in order to keep them safe, creates the TVA, kidnapping people from alternate timelines (like she did on her show) to ensure the safety of the "sacred timeline". She creates the tale of the time keepers, so that she can work in peace to keep her family safe, and so that if anyone ever found out, they wouldn't suspect her. In the meantime, among the kidnapped are people whom she deems powerful enough that they could stop her, including Loki variants, but Lokis, by nature, are tricksters, so she's unable to control them, which in turn leads her to wanna hunt down any Loki that is out there in whatever timeline, that's where Sylvie comes in, hunted down, not because she's a female Loki or a good Loki, but because she's just a Loki. It would also explain why the TVA collects the infinity stones, she couldn't destroy them perhaps, but she could depower them, they are a reminder of Vision's death.

I can't tell if this is a logical fallacy with the series or if it'll wrap back around later. The scene in Pompeii setup the fact that any sort of deviation during an apocalyptic event wouldn't create variant energy for the TVA to track. But the energy spikes during the scene of the two Lokis sitting and talking on Lamentis-1 (I've read theories on what actually causes the spike, but won't go into that), and the TVA shows up to take them away from the doomed planet. My question is just: why? For one, the variant energy should never have shown up in the first place. But second, why would the TVA extract the two Lokis at all? They know where/when the Lokis are, and if the TVA did nothing at all, both Lokis would have just died. Problem solved. Timeline saved. This is unless the variant Lokis are actually apart of the sacred timeline itself. They are meant to be caught by the TVA and survive the apocalyptic event. Their impending deaths may have caused the variant energy to show up. Nope. I'm done. I'll find out if this is something I can complain about at the end of the series. /rant

The variant energy doesn't register because everything is about to be destroyed, right? So, it stands to reason that, whatever Loki and Sylvie were doing was so big that it might have caused the apocalypse event to derail somehow. Maybe they wouldn't have died even if the TVA hadn't rescued them. Given that they were causing a timeline spike, the TVA had to go and reset the timeline before the spike hit the redline.

Personally I think that it was a critical event simply because it was detected and Loki and Sylvie were rescued. And yes, it's a paradox, but that's what happens when you mess with time and decouple cause from effect. If the TVA hadn't been looking for them and hadn't rescued/captured them, then there would have been no nexus event for them to actually detect. The magnitude of the nexus event was due to the fact that it fundamentally affects the TVA itself.

Sylvie only learned to enchant later in life as she taught herself. Also, powers don’t work IN the TVA so even if she knew how back then it would only work if they’re on the timeline when it happens as opposed to in the TVA.
