This version of Lucifer is inspired in a DC Comics character who is blonde and looks like David Bowie; at the beginning of the show, many comic fans criticized the casting choice saying he was supposed to be blonde, that's why Lucifer says "I get that a lot". There is even a cross-over with the DC show "Arrow" (WB channel, I think). Of course, with Tom's great acting nobody doubts today that he was the right casting choice.

@@lucaslopez6489 As far as I know Lucifer isn't mentioned in the bible nor is there a description of him. The bible describes Satan in a few different ways but I don't believe any of them are blonde. Early Christians mistranslated alot of the original Hebrew texts when translating to Latin and during the renaissance the understanding of Lucifer (The Latin name for the planet Venus and a Roman God of light) was attributed to Satan and they became intrinsically linked resulting in alot of artists of the time to be inspired by the moniker of "Lightbringer/Morningstar" making him appear blonde in their paintings. The whole origin of Lucifer in the bible is really a giant example of the game telephone and is very fascinating.

9:00 In the last episode when Amenadiel was talking to Maze in dinner about a goat thing he did to Lucifer, this is what he meant. Apparently Amenadiel was the one that implanted the image of a goat representing Lucifer to the humans and here we can see Lucifer questioning why he is always associated with a goat. Just a fun fact that can be easily missed.

Lucifer's suspicion of Chloe being an angel is so damn funny 🤣 Angels are his siblings, and how she was supposed to be the one? That street preacher is the one from the episode 2, who actually knows about Lucifer's real self, he had seen his devil face, remember? And about that scene at the end. I think Chloe had no choice. Police command were close, so she did as every detective ever do - her work. Look, Lucifer argued with this preacher, later on he was found in his place, dead. What did she suppose to do? Free him? That could be unprofessional and very suspicious, because she was interested in that at the first place

Chloe knows that Lucifer is innocent. She is arresting him because It's her job, she has no choice. If she didn't do it, the other cops would find it strange. Also, you can see that before arresting him, she looks at the cops. She is doing that to protect him.

it may seem strange but the show isn’t based on the devil from the bible but rather an interpretation of the DC comic Lucifer which was based off the bible and… yeah you see the loop of the question “what is this show about?” TLDR: based off DC comics Lucifer (which are based on basic stories of the devil)

the questionnaire is true, CoS(Chuch of Satan) have some pretty invasive and private questions about 6 and stuff(they dont judge, they just want your answers) and I think it was 100 dollars when I was in my phase, but maybe they increased it? I love how Lucifer is sometimes inconsistent with the _"British language"!_ Earlier in the season he referred to Chloe's boss as _"Lieutenant"_ rather than the British variant, _"LEFF-tenant"._ Now he said _"blue light coming out your _*_AWSS_*_ or whatever"._ In _British, "ass"_ is a *DONKEY* -- the backside is _"arse"!_

The vulnerability thing is inconsistent in Season 1, for reasons that would be a spoiler. For exampled, Lucifer seemed INvulnerable in 1x01 despite shielding Chloe from Jimmy Barnes' bullets. In this episode, he stubbed his toe with Chloe around, even though he didn't *KNOW* she was near. Chloe was so *TRUSTING* of Lucifer, at least initially. Not only did she lift the back of her shirt for him, but also leaving him alone with Trixie while she showered! Oh, one more thing -- the artwork in that _"devilish church"_ showed their *hero* being *defeated* by the Archangel Michael! Why???

It is not that old. It aired from 1992 to 1996 when I was in High school/first year of Uni; making it a 90's show, not an 80's show. Were you TeamNat or TeamJennette? That show was... Why didn’t Lucifer just … *RUN AWAY?* Chloe has no cause to shoot him if he poses no threat to her! And we’ve seen how fast he can leave a room. (Remember 1x2 in the interrogation room with Nick Hoffmeister?) Besides, I don’t think she would shoot him, anyway. Listen to her voice tremble. And why ask him to _”Step away from the bar”?_ She knows (by experience) that he uses no weapons, except his own hands.' And why would Lucifer shoot the preacher, then just stand around, with the body still there, waiting to be discovered? And why draw her weapon on Lucifer without even asking him about the body? She’s arrested *ACTUAL* murderers before without ever unholstering her gun!
