The Long Drive has so much potential. So many more things can be added to that game - things that would make sense and are actually feasible development-wise. It's one of the funniest games out there. Unique gameplay too. I hope they keep working on it for years to come and I wish this game can get a big break so they can make more money off of it and maybe hire a few people to help and add even more content!

(According to some sources online) The Long Drive has sold over 1 million copies, and has had an estimated revenue of over $12 million (USD). I'd hope that even half of that would be enough to hire a more dedicated team, but we really can't be sure what's going on behind the scenes. Either way, I'm glad it's getting updates again and I'm looking forward to Gene fleshing out the new world generation

They are working on villages , i think the extra roads will lead to them eventually and the main road will have the light poles so you know where you are going

Man this update is FANTASTIC! So many new cars, mp actually functions (was never able to get it to work before this update), the world feels more alive than ever, balance changes means it starts easier and gets harder. I nearly had lost hope but they pulled through. It's like a whole new game

I have a feature where when I have a dream, it usually has a random game I played with extra features, so I had a dream about more than 1 road in this game with houses and some weird cities. I like dreams. Btw it wasnt like this version of multiple roads it was more like a smooth split and the roads parralell each other for some distance and then separate completely

We just run the latest beta, nothing special. Still pretty buggy. A lot of the worst bugs just don't make it in the videos because they are more annoying than they are entertaining

it’s only on the beta branch, and it’s a work in progress, there’s issues but hopefully soon they’ll be fixed. i can see how the changes they’ve made will be better in the future

imo I cared more about the updates to the stability of the game than the stuff they added. Multiplayer is significantly more stable compared to a year ago
