More minutes give him room to settle in, find his rhythm, and balance out any misses with buckets. You can’t judge a hooper off limited time-give him 25+ minutes, and his points per game + consistency would level up naturally. More time on the court = more opportunities to show consistency and boost that average.

Charlotte is not getting Zo. The Charlotte coach likes Micic at PG. It wouldn't surprise me if they will move Melo down the road. Charlotte is also at a point where they can't turn their season around and to add Zo would mean nothing to their season. A team that will likely move on Zo is a team who is close to competing for a ring. Teams on the radar? Lakers, Spurs, Miami, Bucks, Suns, Clippers, Wolves, even Celtics. In fact, I think a move for Zo to the Celtics makes more sense than anything. They desperately need a ball mover point. It would take their team to the next level instead of just shooting 3's. How many lobs have you ever seen to Tatum and Brown? I've never seen it. You have two dawgs who are always in ISO. That makes no sense. Do the Celtics realize the potential they can unlock even more offensively with the weapons they have on the floor who can shoot 3's? And Zo doesn't even hog the ball to move it. That's a perfect match. And they don't desperately need him to be the PG. I like the Spurs too but they have a ball dominant PG in Chris Paul.

Some players are what I call impact players and are really the MVP on their teams. In other words, a team looks far better than they are when that player is on the floor. That's what Zo did for that 2021 Bulls team. Even now, he is impacting winning even with limited minutes. The last game where the Bulls beat the Celtics, Zo was a plus 10 although he was only 1-7 shooting. That's how you impact winning. Because bb is not just about scoring, it's about how you play with teammates while on the floor. Some other players could have had 20 points but were a negative 14. The Bulls beat the Celtic 117 to 108. There's your plus 10.
