Nice fishing man! Blues every cast. When the blues are thick I switch out the trble hooks for singles. Way easier to deal with.

@@Michael-qx8bz Not at the time we filmed this video but definitely now in the summer and early fall would recommend 40-50 lb flouro leader for those Spanish. I never really have a hard time getting cut off from bluefish.

What lure is that exactly?

It is a 1 oz metal lure you can find at bait shops in the obx Hatteras area. They imitate a glass minnow. They are really good for bluefish and Spanish in the surf.

@@outcastfishin Thanks for the info! I am heading down in June, earliest I ever went down to surf fish, any recommendations? I still need to look at what is in season.

@@Brep17 most of everything is in season except flounder. Just look at the regulations for sizes and bag limit. Definitely pick up one of those lures (or two), some shrimp, and some fresh mullet. Good luck!
