I miss china so much. I was there for six month as a private English tutor/nanny to a family and I loved every bit of it. I had an amazing experience and before you ask no I never experience any racist comments when I was there. They treated me with respect and I made so many friends over there, even a boyfriend(ex now). I was in Jilin Changchun but I honestly loved every bit of it. If China was open now I would’ve went back in a heartbeat. That how much I love China. I hope China opens back up again because I got a job as a nanny in Guangzhou with a family and just waiting until it opens back up. I just love China and I’m so happy you’re enjoying this beautiful country.

How was your mandarin when you first got to china? Im planning on studying abroad in Beijing for 4 months and im so scared. I can speak a little chinese, since im minoring in it at college but i feel like I will have a hard time sustaining conversation as easily as you do.
