Thanks Ray, great reaction as always....Kite Records in Toby's own label that he started to get these new songs with Angelina out since Republic was doing little. He and Angelina had written this song a couple years ago and when Republic did not include it on her "Old Enough" EP Toby was heartbroken and decided to take matters into his own hands and started Kite Records. Yes indeed Michael. I believe it was Mery, the producer and director of her first music video “Fly Me to the Moon” who selected the setting for that first video. lol Ray. Take a chill pill. At the very least there's a film crew with Angelina. lol I love this desert video too. The whole aesthetic of it is very unique, and Angelina. The vocal, as always, is gorgeous. I have a question, and I hope the angels will help me out. I often listen to things on different speeds on KZbin... Obama 1.5 (lol, he's a leisurely talker), news, 1.25, music, normal. To my ears, the pop version always sounds electronically, as if it is sped up from when Angelina sang it. I always check it to make sure I'm on the right speed. I love the song. I just wondered if anyone else hears the same. Ray, look for a short that is headed "Messi's bodyguard doesn't fool around" lol. I can see you doing that for Angelina!

In 2022 when Angelina was working on her album she contacted Toby Gad to work on songs together. She worked with several producers for her album. Angelina and Toby recorded 8 songs. For some reason it was decided to release an EP instead of a full album. Why, we don’t know and also don’t know whose decision that was. Could be the label. Since only a 6 song EP was being released, songs obviously had to be left off. All 8 songs that she worked on with Toby, including Bad Valentine were not released. When the Old Enough EP was released Angelina said that she chose the songs for the EP. So it may have been her decision to not include any of the songs she worked on with Toby. Who knows what other songs she may have recorded with other producers that are still unreleased. Toby was very disappointed especially since he said that Republic was very excited about the songs. He decided to start his own label, Kite Records, so as not to be held back by record labels. His first project was the Piano Diaries album on which Angelina performs If I Were a Boy. Toby also must have gotten the rights to Bad Valentine and released it through Kite. Since Angelina is signed with Republic she appears “Courtesy of Universal/Republic” on the Kite releases. This video was created recently however the recording is from 2022, therefore we are actually hearing a 16 year old Angelina.

It sounds like they re-recorded her present voice over the same 2 year old sound track from the first video that had her 16 year old voice on it, and shot the video after she had the cosmetic work done on her teeth around the beginning of October. Now Jordan’s smile is as perfect as the rest of her, and it’s evident by the way she goes around grinning from ear to ear that she loves her new smile!

She’s grinning from ear to ear because she loves her smile, whereas before she was self conscious as hell about it. It’s why she always covered her teeth when she posed for pictures.
