Countless and all distinguish themselves from each other by their livery. How different is that with the Chiron? The sports car builder has opted for a different strategy for this hypercar, which is further demonstrated by the introduction of the Chiron Pur Sport.
The Pur Sport is a limited edition, because only 60 will be available. But unlike the limited editions of the Veyron, you can dress up the Pur Sport entirely to your personal taste. It is part of the regular delivery program of the Bugatti Chiron and the sales volume of 60 units - not yet sold out - is part of the total circulation of the 500 Chirons. Bugatti will launch the Chiron Pur Sport in the fourth quarter of 2020. Development work is currently being completed. They include the fine-tuning of, among other things, the transmission and the chassis. The design of the car, on the other hand, was frozen at the beginning of this year, as it is called in the car industry. Bugatti was supposed to show the hypercar at the Geneva Motor Show last March. For that last minute car show, Bugatti built a show car or model with the final design and interior, but without the drivetrain. Instead of the 1500 hp W16 engine, the showcar has a small electric motor, allowing the design model to be driven.
