THIS MAKEUP ARTIST BLAMED ME AND SAID IT WAS MY FAULT !!!

I went to the WORST RATED MAKEUP ARTIST in my city, in LONDON.
This makeup artist kept blaming me for why the makeup was not neat, and making excuses by explaining that it was my fault LOL !
Seriously, I paid £50 for this makeup look *cries*! 😭

OMG, this woman does not have a clue what she's doing. I can't believe she has the nerve to charge for that. She's not even giving you her full attention while she's taking phone calls, talking with other customers etc. Plus, she's rude trying to blame you for the mess that she's making of your eyes when she obviously has absolutely no reason being a MUA, nevermind actually charging you for that! I can't believe you were so calm. I would have had to have gotten up and left right after she started scribbling eyeshadow halfway down the sides of my nose. I'll save you the pain and won't mention the eyelashes or the way she halfway applied lipstick. Oh and since when is blush applied to your entire cheek down to your jawline? Also Julia has an open wound (probably a pimple that has been popped but has yet to heal) on her face. The MUA took the concealer wand and went over the open wound with the wand in order to put concealer on Julia’s face, thus contaminating the concealer wand! At this point, if that concealer hasn’t been thrown out, the MUA will end up possibly infecting others with that contaminated concealer wand. Now I’m not saying that Julia may have anything that could cause disease that the concealer wand touched with her ruptured pimple. However when you are taking a job that involves working with people and has an important in prevention of cross-contamination, but to abide by the Universal Standard of Precautions, which basically states that a professional is to act as off EVERYTHING they touch has the potential of causing disease if you let your guard down. That way, you greatly lower the risk of cross-contamination. Obviously this MUA didn’t do that. Which then makes me wonder who else has she might’ve caused infection to as a result of her negligence.

Yes, your right. I understand people get sick but the average person potentially doesn't understand how these infections are spread. It's usually intimate contact involving fluids or by contaminated needles. A loved one contracted a form of Hep and they turned canary yellow, and said they felt absolutely awful. It can damage your liver. I think she should have excused herself for a moment and simply explained it was an important call she had to take. Doctors don't tend to speak more than a few minutes on the phone

It goes to show though, she shouldn't have taken that call in front of a client, bc now everyone thinks she has hepatitis when in fact, nothing like that was ever said. This woman is NOT a professional, bc a professional mua would've never taken a phone call in the middle of working on a client! Not to mention, hep anything would be in such small quantities in the saliva that it's virtually impossible to pass it to someone else via that route, however I wouldn't take the chance personally if I knew someone was positive. But, we don't know if she was or not, bc the nurse wasn't calling to give her results, she was informing her to come get the lab orders to go get the test done, or to come pick up the results, nothing about being positive. I'm honestly gobsmacked at this, this person is clueless, like she struggled to even get the hair band on, kind of didn't have high hopes after seeing that. I'm not a professional MUA but I know a fair bit about makeup, and I get plenty of compliments regarding my makeup, I've been asked if I'm a professional MUA but that I am not. I would not have the nerve to call myself a professional, my face is the only face I've applied makeup to, id be very nervous doing makeup on someone else's face, different angles, different eye shapes and colouring to myself, I feel I have a good foundation to build upon in order to become a professional MUA but if defiantly never say I was a pro until I had some qualifications under my belt. It was an inapropriate phone call to have in front of a client, no doubt, but her reaction was 100% normal for someone being told to go do lab work. She may be taking a medication that requires liver tests to be done, having surgery in the near future, or just getting a physical, but there was nothing wrong with her reaction. I'm sorry to say this, bc this video was gold, and it was the first time I've seen one of your videos too, but it was your reaction to that phone call that was inappropriate, bc now your followers (yourself included) are assuming she's positive, when that's not even close to what was said in the phone call. If it were me, I'd edit this video so that you can clear it up, bc that's not ok to have that in there. What she did wasn't ok, but this is spreading false info, it's not good. She could definitely sue you for defamation over comments like yours. The video of her phone call is fine, bc she's the one who took the call in front of you knowing you were recording, but the assumptions you make about any diagnosis' she may or may not have, is not fine. As a nurse, I'm mortified to see so many ppl react to this and assume that she's got hepatitis rather than acknowledging what was really said!

That would be diagnosing her with a disability, which is just as bad as suggesting to the world that she has hepatitis! 🤦🏼‍♀️ We can't just be diagnosing ppl with whatever we feel like, bc we're not their Dr! There was nothing wrong with how op described someone as being "slow" .. But she shouldn't have said she felt that way based on the lack of reaction to the phone call. There is no reason to be concerned just bc you have to get blood work done, therefore the "mua" responded 100% appropriate in that situation. The only thing she did wrong was to take the call in front of her client, and having it on speaker phone. Op was wrong in that situation, it led to her saying the mua was slow, that shouldn't of happened based on her phone call, a phone call discussing ROUTINE lab work at that!

I don't think enough context was given as to why this woman's Dr. was wanting to test her for Hep. I find this very concerning. Julia has an open sore on her face and that woman's fingertips look gnawed upon! I mean, you can tell her ring finger on Jer left hand has dried blood around the nail bed! 😳 So, open sore and she has her UN-gloved hands around that sore, her eyes and her mouth!!! This should be reported to the health department!!

Hepatitis can be transmitted through saliva and blood as well, not just sexually. That's actually really concerning. It can be spread through close personal contact

This blood work is standard if you're getting a physical or you're on certain medications, it doesn't mean she's positive, it means she needs to go get those blood tests done. It goes to show though, she shouldn't have taken that call in front of a client, bc now everyone thinks she has hepatitis when in fact, nothing like that was ever said. This woman is NOT a professional, bc a professional mua would've never taken a phone call in the middle of working on a client!

Hep C is actually only transmitted through blood. Also I don't think it is considered a STI I'm not sure though. I know Hep B definitely is not. Where I live it's pretty common to get tested for these though. They are also both completely treatable/curable.

STI is interchangeable with STD. They just changed the name a few years back. It's essentially the same thing. The only difference being not all diseases are caused by an infection.

Hep b is contagious. My daughter got it through eating unclean prawns on holiday and nearly died. We all had to have tests and quarantine and had to ring everyone we had been in contact with. So be careful
