If anything, I think the fact it all fell when she took the feather off makes it even more impressive. It was *that* perfectly balanced.
@zyklos229 Жыл бұрын
Yeah. Could me a mixture of science and presenting as magic trick plus of course skilfulness. The thing with the fether was a proper included expectation, you see how the construct reacts exponentially kindof while the setup did make use of lowering center of mass to keep the equilibrium stable. But for sure needs more exercise than just pile a house of cards - while you know, there are "tricks" to simplify that.

As someone who loves stacking cairns of stones, i understood this quite viscerally. Especially the balancing of the bike. When i stack stones, i feel two points of contact. I search for a third, and when that point connects, it feels otherworldly. It feels otherworldly. The sensation in your hands feels like the stones are made of magnets.. like fitting puzzle pieces together perfectly, as if they were always supposed to stack together in a visually defying way.. I know in my mind they are delicately balanced, but tactically, it truly feels like magnetism locks them in place. That's the sensation one gets in your hands. It is... Very peculiar. It really is like magic, when you feel that balance between the objects, yourself, andthe very earth itself.

@@headbreakable You can find the first part of the act, with stick's and feather here on YT, performed on the streets by many people not only this guy here. Maybe its some kind of ancient street show art or something i don't know. But i know that: this stick's are have perfect balance points in each of them marked by thin cuts on the surface. This cuts are very small and visible only to a performer. And it only helps to assemble this constructions, but not to hold it in balance. But even this "easy part" Its still very hard and skilful act.

Ikr, ive seen shows like AGT, and they got some.... Uhhh.... Interesting view for "talent". Like theres one time where they show 3 woman trying to do the most basic highschooler acrobatic and failed 3 times but the jury still let them pass becauss apparently they "Didnt give up 🗿" Or the time where they show a guy trying to land a helicopter toy on his butt, and also someone dressing in yellow superman suit singing under the sea. The only actual talents ive seen was when someone sings beautifully or when someone dance very well. there are some other talents too, but mostly singing and dancing I guess its refreshing to see other country's view for talents like this one. And also refreshing to see a unique talent that doesbt involve singing and dancing for once.

translation: names: the MC: Cheng Lei (CL), judges looking from the stage left to right: Cai Guoqing (CGQ), Yang Mi (YM), Jin Xing (JX), Shen Teng (ST), guy performing: Han Suining (HSN) 0:19 - CL: Acts like this require everyone to be very patient. 0:41 - JX: How curious, it's like a math formula, e.g. how long should this be, how long should that be, it needs to balance. 1:36 - ST: Last piece, good luck. 1:44 - HSN: Ah, actually, now I need someone out of the four of you who thinks they have the most steady mind (i.e. won't get nervous easily) to come up here and assist me. JX: The one with the most steady mind is Mr. Cai, the one with the most steady weight is Shen Teng. You pick. HSN: Ah, Mr. Cai. I invite Mr. Cai up. JX: You see, mind won out over weight. HSN: After coming up here Mr. Cai, please stand next to the small frame on the right. CL: Only after Mr. Cai Guoqing comes up to the stage does the show really begin. YM: Mr. Cai with the steady mind, good luck. 2:27 - CL: So how is he going to use these fixtures? 2:44 - CGQ: There's no way he's giving that to me, right? I couldn't handle that. JX: Oh no, slower, slower, the wind's getting big, slower. ST: This is like driving a car where you can't make turns too small- JX: You can't turn too fast either. JX: Slower, slower, slower. CL: Now he should be propping up this balanced structure on this pole, right? JX: Huh? I thought he was going to pass it to Cai Guoqing. HSN: Ah, Mr. Cai, I need your help to press (the frame) on the right side of the brick and make sure it doesn't move. I'm going to come over afterwards and do the next step of the balancing act. CGQ: Ah, understood, understood. HSN: Alright. CL: The pressure that Mr. Cai is giving is very crucial right now, huh? JX: Don't panic, don't panic, don't panic, let's see. 3:39 - HSN: I'm about to push down. HSN: Use a bit of strength to support it...good, that's good, very good. Stay like that for a moment. JX: Oh, he's going to put it on top of the pole. 4:11 - HSN: Good, it's very stable. Mr. Cai, your hand is very stable. HSN: Okay, Mr. Cai, stay stable for just another moment. CL: Oh, the bicycle is being used! How will he use this bicycle, then? 4:40 - HSN: Okay, remove your hands. 4:54 - CL: The frame on this side is already starting to swing. 5:03 - YM: Don't rush, take it slow. CL: At times like this, if just a little more strength was used, this entire structure would collapse. CGQ: He's going to try releasing his hands. 5:32 - CL: His hand is already off the bicycle! 6:02 - JX: This is too superb. YM: It's like a magic trick. HSN: There's another step that I hope to succeed at. CL: There's still another step! JX: What are you going to do? 6:18 - JX: Oh, he wants it to spin around. 6:29 - ST: It only has one stand? JX: Yeah, with just one stand he can find the balance point, how amazing. ST: Wow! 6:44 - JX: Why don't you also spin the other side and see what happens? HSN: Okay, but because I haven't tried this before- JX: Might as well try it today, you've already gotten this far. 7:07 - JX: Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. YM: The feather- JX: Ah, the feather-! Ah, the feather, ah-! YM: Are you going to take the feather (off)? HSN: Yes. JX: Don't do it, why don't you let Yang Mi do it? 7:32 - HSN: Testing the support for the second time. JX: Slower, slower, slower, slower. 7:53 - ST (i think): Amazing, brilliant, thank you. JX: Very good, very good. YM: Can you find the balance point of anything? HSN: I've balanced a lot of things before, and I've also balanced people. If it's okay, I'd like to invite one of you judges up to balance you. I take a chair, and I balance it on a single leg. ST: Yang Mi. JX: Er Jiu. (a nickname for Shen Teng that came from an inside joke on the show.) HSN: Because this seat...I actually don't know how much weight this seat can support...the lighter the better. JX: Out of the four of us, the lightest one is still Mimi (nickname for Yang Mi) HSN: Ms. Yang Mi, please come up and try this. JX: You're the lightest. HSN: First sit on this seat. JX: If Shen Teng went up there, the stone would break. HSN: No need to be nervous. Good. HSN: Just lean back, whatever feels comfortable. YM: This isn't comfortable. HSN: You can hold onto (the edge). Sit. JX: If even this can be balanced then that's really amazing. ST: Amazing. JX: Right. JX: Why don't you give the microphone to someone else so you can hold the chair with two hands- ST: Is the microphone hindering you- HSN: No need, no problem, almost done. CGQ (i think): It's almost done? JX: Don't move, don't move, don't move! 9:08 - (irrelevant ad break) 9:23 - (either CGQ or ST i can't tell): This is due to the sound of our cheering. HSN: Because this was initially balanced, so a person might get a bit nervous and move around slightly (and fall). Should we try again? ST and JX: Let's do it again, let's do it again! YM: No no no! ST: Do it again, this is too magical! JX: Don't you dare move, Yang Mi. ST: Yang Mi, this is too magical. CGQ: Do it again, and this time we won't make any noise. JX: Lean back, lean back. We'll do the cheering, you just don't move. Ah, this is too amazing. 9:46 - JX: Let us call out, you just don't move. YM: I feel scared. HSN: No problem, no problem. Because I'm guarding you from the back, and it's not a problem if you topple forward. JX: Right, no problem- Don't move, don't move! You can't even turn your head, don't move! HSN: No problem, no problem. ST (i think): It's really like a roller coaster without a mountain. JX: Don't move, don't move, don't move! ST: Don't even dare blink your eyes! JX: Don't move, don't move! CGQ: Too powerful/amazing! JX: Ok ok ok, this is too amazing! Ok, you can let her down now. ST: Too amazing, too amazing. HSN: Thank you, Ms. Yang Mi. ST: Dude, do you want a challenge with another level of difficulty? JX: A weight level. JX: Go up. ST: I'm telling you, I'm usually not willing to go up on stage to help with acts. I'm afraid someone's going to make me look like a fool, but this, I really want to try. HSN: Based on my previous experience, of course the heavier it is, the harder it is, but I'll give it a try. JX: Shouldn't heavier be more stable? HSN: The seat legs aren't very sturdy, so if they move around, they could- ST: Alright, don't say anymore! HSN: Ok. ST: I'm going to give you even more difficulty, or else what's the point of me coming up here? YM: You're going to break yourself in half... 11:10 - HSN: You can't sit like this, you have to sit properly- JX: Don't cross your legs, just hold onto the seat. JX: Ok, like this is good, good, don't move. YM: The guy has difficulty just lifting you. JX: Don't inhale, don't inhale. Keep your breathing even. 11:30 - JX: Don't move, don't breathe, don't inhale. YM: It really is more difficult when it's heavier. HSN: Ok, don't move, almost done. CGQ: Relax yourself, don't strain yourself. JX: How was it? It succeeded! 11:51 - YM: Your performance made it feel like this art of balancing isn't an art that's impossibly high to achieve, like it's an art that's doable for every one of us. My decision is YES. JX: I like your courage to accept challenges on the spot, so my decision is definitely YES. ST: I believe that even if Newton was in the auditorium right now, he would also applaud you, so my decision is YES. CGQ: My decision is YES. (ad break, something about oyster sauce)

The real talent is that he knows exactly where the center of mass of everything is, thats crazy. Here is the definition of Center of Mass: In physics, the center of mass of a distribution of mass in space is the unique point where the weighted relative position of the distributed mass sums to zero. This is the point to which a force may be applied to cause a linear acceleration without an angular acceleration.

Amazing talent. I’m so grateful for these shows, KZbin, and other online ways of demonstrating what great things many people around the world can do. I believe it also demonstrates the beautiful side of each individual and how we’re so much alike more than borders, political affiliations, creed, nationality, color, religion or culture makes us different. I love that we all come from different countries, languages, history, good and bad pasts, but in the end are all imperfect human beings. The media platform that allows these talents to be shared are important as long as that same media and others, don’t go out of the their way to shame other’s for a different belief or opinion. Let’s be different and appreciate the individual rather than the “hate” or parts we disagree with. We are all children of a loving God, our Father in Heaven who created us all, no matter the decade, millennium, place or time, culture or background again. We can create peace and help God Lee his promise by striving to be better and inviting others to do the same. Alright, off my soapbox. I just loved that I didn’t understand a word in this video but felt I understood it.

I normally skip over videos like this and the thumbnail only shows the lady on the chair, but i wanted to click it for some reason. Is the feather segment something that is ancient or taught in meditation? It is so beautiful. "Heart triumphs over body." The Universe held itself in place for the Adamus man, the precious and fragile feather at the end of a perfectly balanced, weaving maze. ❤ to this man for showing such a skilled and perfect metaphorical demonstartion of that which makes life on Earth important. It was once thought that the Universe is geocentric, but it turned out that the Universe or our solar system is heliocentric. Yet within the push and pull, ebb and flow of all the forces in our cosmos, balance held up the feather, the Adamus man, this little blue and green planet. Without the Adamus man, this cosmos crumbles. Thank you for this demonstration. "Heart triumphs over body." A beautiful, true and skilled performance, indeed. How beautiful and true.

Incredible. I've seen a much simpler version of this done by a woman on another country's talent show, but this guy went way way beyond her performance. It's funny, because the other performer acted so serious, mysterious and intense. The lights were turned down low, a spotlight was on her. Tense mystical music was playing. She was breathing so hard into the microphone like she was having sex. But she only did 25% of what he does here. She was so much creepy drama. This normal guy comes out and says "Hold my beer."
