I found this 74-year-old man who comes to Haridwar ganga ghat everyday with his stacks of mats and a set of mic and speaker. He call himself ganga swachh krantikari.
He gives mats free of cost to people for sitting as an alternative to the plastic mats sold there.
He keeps announcing the ill affects of plastic and why we need to save ganga and frequents keeps cleaning the ghat of the plastics that people use and leave there.
