John Mahama is a passionate pan Africanist being the son of a die hard Nkrumahist. He is good for Ghana since he has matured a great deal since his last presidency. Im not from his party but campaigned for him to win in my home district. Ghana Renaissance. Africa Rising

Africa’s underlying problem is not neocolonialism but rather official corruption and very bad governance, which started from Nkrumah’s regime in ghana and lack of ability to extract and add value to our natural resources in Africa,if now fragmented Africa becomes a single entity in future and the underlying problems,especially poor governance now inhibiting economic growth in individual Africa countries persist the continent would still be an empty giant. So the focus must now be on good governance in individual Africa countries before long lasting union can be achieved. Otherwise,very soon in the near future,well fed Africa leaders would have to meet again,only to come up with another acronym to replace AU, which superseded OAU. A word to the wise is enough.

Corruption and bad governance started with nkrumah’s regime? I believe your point about good governance is a shared vision but your premise statement reveals where you stand.
@ABempahКүн бұрын
@@YungMulla-d9l issuing citizens identification cards,showing their residential addresses and streets naming with signs and numbers on buildings to facilitate directions were necessary groundworks,which should have occupied during Nkrumah’s regime to help catapult ghana on the road of sanity and order,but were ignored by Nkrumah. Rather Nkrumah established ghana airways,just to fly government officials and the few elites abroad,how many Ghanaians were traveling abroad in the sixties to justify making investments in ghana airways a top priority over rural development to supply hard working farmers and workers with clean drinking water and electricity? How many estates Nkrumah built in the rural areas to be purchased by farmers?

With a leader such as JDM, not only right minded Ghanaians worldwide are glad, but also all over Africa and the world at large are happy. Of course the evil 😈 ones are unhappy. Unfortunately, about half of the population in Ghana hate this giant (JDM) of Africa, the very way that their forefathers hate Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah. Long live JDM long live the Great minds worldwide.
