This guy is amazing, I know him, he study languaages really hard way, like picking up random book in a language he is total beginner and tries to translate each word, takes lot of time, persistance, repetiton. This is the reason he is truly the best in world. I would say the first 10 langauges he truly speaks at C2 and rest on B2-C1. BUt he understands all of them deeply. Who should we admire and who would motivate us like Vladmir, there is no one only fake ones. Vladimir is humble he always think he speak not that good at some langauges, but in fact in our terms he speaks them perfectly. God bless you VLad, Slovakia, I am just random lazy slovak lol, which I had the motivation like you. All get inspired and check out his channel, there he mentions some pretty interresting stuff, from which you will definitely have benefit.

In Russian he messed up the phrase "I speak Russian", which is a pretty simple phrase. I really doubt he is even C1 in Russian, let alone C2. I think if you have Slavic as your native tongue you can pronounce pretty much anything. I speak Russian and after learning English I feel like I pretty much can pronounce any weird sound like "th" or "zh". When I took Spanish and started reading the words out loud my prof told me I have a clearer pronunciation than many native speakers.
@giulia70044 жыл бұрын
@@bekakilov9656 I don’t think so... Italian sounds totally different than English or Spanish, we have a different pronunciation. Not that easy
@bekakilov96564 жыл бұрын
@@giulia7004 What I meant is the letter pronunciation. Like if you know many languages there's a high chance you will be able to pronounce a complicated sound from a new language you are learning since the hardest part of learning new pronunciation is that your mouth simply doesn't have the muscle memory to produce certain sounds. This guy is mastering Chinese pronunciation so I would guess he can do Italian as well. Regarding the Slavic part: I believe Slavic languages have a long set of random sounds that sound crazy, so that might give them an advantage in a starting set of pronounceable sounds known to the speaker. It's just my theory though lol

@@viktoriadobra8389 I don't want to sound harsh, but what do you mean by "SOME slovak roots"? DOBRA means "a good one" (and only about a FEMALE one) even in Serbian, so - you must have pretty clear slavic (and slovak) roots, right? Is it really possible that those things simply vanish and how, especially between those two very different languages. I'm just curious.

@@asemark2678 i'm not saying i don't have pure slavic roots, it's just that i'm not the least familiar with the origin of our family (pun intended :D) if i did some digging in our history, i might just find something of interest 😁
@asemark26784 жыл бұрын
@@viktoriadobra8389 Thank you Viktoria for answering! What interested me most (in my previous comment) was like - how that switch of the most common language (of certain person) happens. I'm Serbian (from nort Serbia which was part of Austro Hungary) and I have visited Budapest many times. My grandfather from fathers side was even living a couple of years on Chepel Sziget and had learned hungarian SO well that he got complimants from hungarian Honved soldiers in II world war when they dropped unanounced on his farm and thus mannaged to save my father from taking him away with them to the war. For me it was totally different, I mean - that language sounds so foreign in my ears and I was wondering many times - how is it possible that somebody with any slavic language as their mothertongue, in some future step totally forgets it and gets start talking and thinking in hungarian, like those old ladies in Szentendre who don't speak a word of Serbian but wears serbian folk dresses. In one way - nothing strange, I see a lot of kids here in Scandinavia where I live for many years ago, who were born here and speak pretty bad Serbian although they are just second generation of those Serbs who migrated, but on another hand - I feel that it would never happen to ME: Not only have I not forgot my native language, but even improved it, through all those years abroad and I feel I will NEVER switch my national identity and native language, but ofcourse - I was not born here, but yet, since I guess that even all those who get a new language through kindergarten and later through school and other ways of sharing social life, still, at home, talk with their parents on their "old" mothertongue (there are even those who are tottally bilingual, which ofcourse is the best). I guess it's very connected with where one belongs, i.e. if one found it's place in that new country and knows even tv programs, films, "spirit" of society, MORE than of parents' home country... I probably gave you much longer reply than you expect and I ofcourse can understand if you don't feel motivated to bather with explanations to a tottal stranger, but if you feel for it and find some time - it would be interasting for me to hear, in very short, how (if that's the case) you made that switch, or maybe you are hungarian from mother's side and thus got hungarian as a mothertongue from beginning? Greetings from Viktor (my real name)
