Put up a photo of him with a message in the lobby to inform others and also on the inside of the door facing out (assuming it’s glass), so when he comes back he can see his face. It could scare him off if he knows everyone in the building is aware of who he is and what he’s doing. If others in the building are concerned, you could consider collectively hiring a security guard, even if it’s temporary.

Document every single thing: day/time/location/camera footage. Have your neighbors do the same. Get a restraining order. When leaving your building do not have earphones on, do not look at your phone, be alert of your surroundings and if possible, be accompanied. Ughhh I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I had a stalker at my gym, made my life a living hell. I’m South American so by nature I’m super friendly but during that time I became paranoid, distant and cold. Most torturous of all I didn’t even know what my stalker looked like, so could have been anyone. You are armed with knowing what this creep looks like, so feel empowered about that. I had a similar situation and had to call the police multiple times in a 2-3 week period. They told me, “what’d you expect living on the ground floor and bring a pretty young lady walking around in your robe?” It’s so frustrating that there’s so little (basically no) protection for victims of stalking. I mean Ariana Grande had that guy break in over 90 times and have a weapon at times and still nothing was done. Hope you stay safe and the guys get repercussions!!

Something near identical happened to me a few months ago!! This random guy kept buzzing my door looking for a woman named Alice or something and no matter what he kept coming back and trying to look into my house and yard. He also kept flashing an Apple gift card at my door camera and even left it there once. Long story short he got arrested for trespassing and haven't seen him since 😬😬 He was almost 70 but the cops said he seemed completely lucid and had no prior record! People are so weird!!!

If he is 70 he might have Alzheimer’s or Dementia, I have seen people with the condition mistake other people’s home as theirs but you did the thing of not opening the door, you never know these days, even 70 year olds can be criminals.

Did you talk to the landlord? If he comes inside an apartment where multiple tenants are living, then it’s not only your problem. The landlord maybe able to hire bodyguards until he’s captured.

I had similar situation in the past and Im not even famous person, but just some random girl that is trying to pass my university. It all started when I was studying and one time when I was walking to my grandma's flat some man showed up and went after me. I managed to get away safety, but I saw him again the other day. And again. And again. And again. Sadly we don't have any cameras, we live in a small flat in the poorer part of the town. I was trying to do something about it, because he was following me few times more but situations like this are common here so no one cared. Every time I go to my uni I pray to not see him again. I hope you stay safe, I know how scary situations like that one can be, so just be safe. I hope that maybe your case at least will be explained by the Police. Stay safe ♡

Sweet summer child, youre such a light. You bring joy and smiles and humor to people but you've reached a level of recognition in which you must now be diligent and discerning. You live in NYC with millions but you're building is recognizable, the stores you frequent nearby are recognizable and your such a stunner that anyone looking for you could probably find you. I'm really sorry that you are going through this. And I agree about getting protective items like pepper spray or mace or even more serious weapons. However, I am wondering if there is a male friend or family member who can stay with you until these freaks are caught? Also, I understand the security features your building has, but does it have an actual security guard? I was a security guard at an apartment complex. If it doesn't, you might want to speak to management about getting one. Also, are you able to ask the police to do extra patrols in and around your building, or even just have an officer there for a little while? Especially since that b*stard tried to grab your neighbor's friend. There's no way he should've been able to just enter after she ran away. And then he stole your package?! Wth? I'm not trying to make you paranoid or anxious, and I'm sure you're already doing this, but just check even more when you're out to see if you spot one of them following you or someone else seemingly following you. I'm not sure if this is a targeted thing, but it's just weird that he came back the same day you got back. And make sure someone is with you wherever you're going. But posting and sharing their faces was a great move. And if either of them do come back, again please make sure a male friend or family member is with you in the apartment and have them answer and curse the pricks out. Sending so much love. Gosh this is scary. Stay vigilant and make sure you change something up. He obviously is following you on social media or saw you on your way home, maybe he could be in previous videos? Always carry pepper spray, a defense thingy, and go home with many people. Maybe you could stay at a hotel or friend’s house (don’t film near windows he could try to find the location through surroundings). You could leave motion cameras inside your place too until you feel safe. This type of situation is scary, but really hope it gets better for you! Stay safe!

Stay safe! ❤ Stalkers are terrifying, they dont do much (hopefully) than getting to your house unannounced in weird hours so really authorities doesnt really care about it. I still have this guy, since 2007, coming to my life in and out, to the point I move out from the continent and out of fear I can't post what I what if I visit my hometown because I am afraid he will do something. Last thing he did is send me a friend request with an account called "jaque mate" with a threatening message. My mom says he still shows up at my place at 3 am asking for me. But asking for someone is not a crime so here we are. 😢
