I like the 2nd and third one's. They dabble in territory where you can think that there might be major drama or 18plus scenes but it's more slice of life? I like em. Although it sounds stupid so does most plots of anime or manga. Example: Boy chases after his first kiss , Naruto. I think these series deserve more recognition for dabbling in territories that are rare or taboo.

I adore "Kaneda - Geinoh Yamashirogumi" so much. When my friends and I went to a cinema screening of the film I specifically told them "I'm not getting up until the credits are done for the music." Yet they still stood up and tried to get me to leave. Seasoned anime fans most of them. Most of the room was emptying. I was like "SHHHHH!!" And stayed put. I am still annoyed about being disturbed during that track. The bike chase scene in particular was phenomenal on the big screen. If anyone reading gets the chance, go see Akira in the cinema!

So Joey, about the feeling of everything going quicker as time goes by. We can only have a certain amount of memories very present in our daily lives. So when we're young, we have only those years as a reference and time goes at a certain pace. Eventually, all of those years behind us make the new days seem shorter, or smaller, because of all we've lived. A year in a 10 y/o is, well, 10% of his life. A year in a 25 y/o is 4% of his life. And so, life seems to be going faster, a simple matter of perspective.

Yo this has jack to do with anime, but what you said about time moving faster and faster and it makes sense if you think about your life in fractions. Recently listened to a radio host talking about how if you're 1 year old 1 year is your whole life and if you're 2 then 1 year is 1/2 of your life, etc that's why as you get older eg. At 21 then 1 year is 1/21 of your life, time seems to be relatively faster as you age
