Just because average people don't know who Howard Shore is doesn't mean he's not a highly respected composer and known in his field as one of the greats. Anyone who knows anything about great film composition knows who he is, thus he's not underrated, and far more people know who Kondo is than Howard Shore, and Shore's not underrated. Kondo is the number one superstar of video game composition. He's not even remotely underrated, and just because the ignorant masses don't know him doesn't mean he is.

Basically, I think the CCM Theme and the Slide Theme have the same melody.

The melody pops up in the bbf, ccm and the slide levels. SMW does the same thing but in all the world themes. Its called a motif.

Wow.. this was my favorite level in the game when it came out. I was like 7 years old and my step dad randomly in the middle of a road trip to his parents Ozarks lake house bought me and my little half-brother a Nintendo 64 right when it was released. It came with Mario Kart, and he got us Mario 64, and I think Bomber Man. Thinking back he probably did it to keep us kids occupied so we wouldn't bother him and my mom on our vacation if you know what I mean 😂... It worked. We played those games the whole week glued to the TV. I always loved penguins as a kid so this was my favorite level. Song is great and you playing it so well is super impressive. 🤙✌️
