NE states and Darjeeling has similarity in this case (my region). We who are indigenous here (Nepali, Koch, Kamrupi, Bodo, Tharu, Dhimal, Rabha) have women shopkeeper in periodical markets. Mostly sabji ,tea shop and restaurants are run by women. In my village 90% women do agricultural works and run their own business.Due to cultural influence by outsiders now some of us(Plain region) feel ashamed by this culture and they proudly say 'Our women don't work outside '.We should learn from NE how they preserve their culture and respect women. 💚 NE is inspiration ❤

Even man goes to woman house after marriage. There women are highly respected. Not only in Mizoram in the entire North East women are treated equally with man. I think only the North state where women given equality is Ladakh, same like North east. When any parents got baby they are being looked after well whether girl or boy.
