I too faced the same issue when I was following my coaching blindly. I always tried to complete all exercises and hw questions along with classes but some or the other topic used to get left out. The worst thing which happened after that is that my board exams didn't go too good because I lacked basic understanding of topics. After board exams, I stopped going to my coaching thinking that the same cycle will continue, but then as time was less, I wasn't able to complete all topics and ended up studying the same few topics which I knew. I still don't know many topics like complex numbers, rotational motion, areas perfectly and now I don't have enough time to master them as I've to give jee advanced this year. I'm feeling very bad about my studies, like I was never so much horrible in studies and never left too much portion. I am not taking drop because I'm feeling so burnt out that I just can't study the topics of jee. Conclusion: Don't get into such a loop.

Yeah it's true But I'm a PW lakshya jee batch students and my math teacher Sachin jakhar do this same i.e. for example currently our tangent and normal of AOD is going on and our sir gave everything in module related to that days topic. Which helps to complete the chapter smoother He also gave us ncert home works

True, but he still only gives homework from exercise 1 and 2, I would recommend to you to start solving PYQs and all other questions you are planning to do for that and try to practice more than they give. I think the flaw pratham bhaiya mentioned still exists and can only be fixed by the students.

i actually never thought of it that way... I used to just revise whatever our teacher gave and i noticed that at the end of the chapter he gave a lot of homework and i still havent finished it and just thought it was normal, but apprarently not. Thank you 🙏

This is one of the reason's I Always stay ahead of The class, I always complete the chapter in 4-5 days the chapters is started, this way I get more 5-10 days to study extra, and solve tougher books.

Tum apna kam karte jao. No need to worry, solve the questions given in class, solve Dpps, revise notes and imp questions from Dpps then solve module and pyqs, that's it. If the module isn't good enough then u will automatically have problem in mock tests. Agar marks thik he then don't worry

I would like to share my experience on this Bhaiya I prepared from KZbin myself and solved cengage for physics, n awasthi-ms Chouhan-vj sir for chemistry and maths Now, the thing is, I started proper preparation for chem in June 2020 completed it 100% Physics in January 2021 completed it 80% Maths in July 2021 completed 50-55% So in entire journey no one was sitting on my head so I also suffered backlogs specially in maths but my backlogs never made that pressure on me because for me it was me who had to give myself homework and attend classes For eg maths had a lot of backlogs..... So I decided that I need to prioritize to fix my prep..... I was getting interest in calculus and newly found mohit tyagi sir taught it well..... I contacted a few seniors asking for basics of calculus.... Trigo, straight line, sequence series, inequality, functions and I had surprisingly done only these chapters by then.... So I started with aim to finish calculus as it also has a big weightage plus would help in btech courses as well so obvious choice I became fascinated in graphs and it helped me improve score from 6/100 to somewhere around 20/100 then I set my eyes upon Matrices and determinants and 3D-Vector..... I did try conics but realised it wasn't my game so I chose to study basics from ncert and leave it so basically Most of the days the plan was like, I woke up if it felt like watching lecture, opened youtube watched lecture from the subject I wanted to.... Then moved on to solve questions (illustrations and examples in cengage physics similar in chemistry) from topics studied... Used doubtnut in case of confusion or referred to solutions at back There were days I studied only one subject, there were days I studied two some days 3 So crux is, I feel the flexibility and ease one can have with self study is awesome experience and I mean I know the best what is my capacity and what are my strengths so it helped me devout time to my strengths and weaknesses in proper proportion The amount of customization is awesome and also gives us confidence that we can face our problems ourselves Btw in mains I got 99.6%ile chemistry 99.1%ile physics Overall 98.7%ile (due to maths :p)

Ideducation has not covered mains specific topics so for that I used eduniti Pahul sir has not covered inorganic chemistry expect periodic properties and chemical bonding but he asked me to read ncert, solve a lot and lot of questions and pyq because a big part of inorganic is all about memory so the more questions you solve, more mistake you make better it gets however Canvas classes inorganic chemistry videos helped me a lot in last days I did coordination chemistry from ALK sir Pahul sir has made series of let's rev it and hybrid sprint which is so nice for revision Level up is also great for question solving So is mirror mirror on the wall.... Pure advanced level stuff Eduniti for physics revision for mains Physics galaxy for physics revision for advance Embibe for giving pyq (I deliberately left 2021 pyqs in question solving so that I can use them as mocks) and I also wrote AYJR by mathongo

From my experience, staying ahead of the class proves to be very beneficial as normally in class i dont usually have the confidence to attempt the problems given by the teachers which pretty much results in underconfidence in the whole chapter for a while. This ends up in me doing the theory by myself again, due to which i dont get much time for problem solving which is the main part! From now on i will study the base theory part before the class (and of course revise the previous class) and find the questions based on the concepts covered after the class and attempt them the on same day.

Best method to avoid backlogs is to cover things beforehand cuz there are many resoureces to help. What i do is covering most of the things of any chaper before chapter is thought 😅

JEE me concepts deep level ke check hote hai, par deep level me concepts padhne keliye time lagta hai, wo log ka toh theek hai, jinhone 8th se shuru kar diya, kuch aise bhi log hai, jinhe 12th me ya 12th ke baad pata chali hai ye chize, unki galti nahi isme, sabke bade siblings nahi hote, sabko guidance nahi milti, sabke parents well educated nahi hote, sabko 8th standard se mobile phones nahi milte, joh inhe JEE ki importance bata sake, sirf time ki kami ke karan, baaki bacche aage nikal jaate hai, isko Fair start bologe? Ye JEE ka exam knowledge gain nahi karwa raha hai, problem solving abilities test ho rahi hai yaha, par ye toh kam syllabus me bhi ho sakti hai na? Kyun 30-30 chapter harr subject me chahiye, jinse 1-2 sawal aayenge bas, majak ho raha hai kya yaha? Padhaya Quantitatively jata hai, aur Exam Qualitative hai... Aur Quantity is Inversely proportional to Quality... Kitna ajeeb haina? Ek baccha joh 4 saal se JEE ka padh raha hai, wo compete kar raha hai, unse jinhone 12th me chalu kiya? 12th or after 12th start karne walo ki sachme kya galti hai? Unke parents itne ameer nahi honge, joh bacche ko school se nikalwakar, JEE ke course me daal sake... Sabko race me bhaga rahe ho atleast starting point toh same do!!! Nepotism Bollywood keliye bolte hai, but JEE me usse bhayankar wala Nepotism ho raha hai, Jinke parents ko JEE ki jankari hai, wo bacche aage nikal jaa rahe hai, waah!!! My brother is preparing for sof Olympiads(standard 4). For maths he asked me to give him a question as he is really good at maths. I gave him a question which I knew He could never solve. The question was to finish this series and find the pattern : 0,1,4,9_, _, _, _,(Yes, I left many blank spots as he was being overconfident about how good he was at maths). In 5 -7 mins he found all the answers correctly, I thought he must have learnt it at school, when I check his method, solved it in the following way.0+1=1 ; 1 +3 = 4 ; 4 + 5 = 9 ; 9 + 7 = 16; 16 + 9 = 25 ; 25 + 11 = 36(he added odd numbers to 0) and this pattern continued till 64 and this always continues.Its amusing for me

Ex 1 -- jee main level (easy and moderate) Ex 2 --- Jee main tough level and jee advanced easy and moderate level. Ex 3 --- jee main and advanced pyq Extra edge --- jee advanced tough level. Your priority should be this ---- 1) Ex 1 objective 2) Ex 1 subjective ⬆️ These both along the chapter. 3) Ex 3 jee mains pyq 4) Ex 2 objective 5) Ex 2 subjective 6) Ex 3 Jee advanced pyq 7) Extra Edge ⬆️ These four after completion of chapter. (During revision of chapter and for accuracy) So if you are only jee main oriented then only do ex 1, ex 2 (subjective/integer type) and ex 3. Leave extra edge.

However I will recommend anyone to go with Allen reso fitjee as they are better. People like PW module because it has very less questions thus they don't like the module, they like that they don't have to do a lot of hardwork.

idk abt other batches but rn in pw class 11 batcch specifically our physics and chemistry teacher give us all the questions related to the topic whether it is from topicwise question or pyq or advance level questions . even I felt that this was really beneficial as it saved our time from searching questions related to that topic in the modules . Main reason is that.. Ki 95-97% aspirant discipline and consistent nahi rahte..ye problem khaskar online me jayada hota h.Kyuki 1.5 hr ke 3 lecture dekhna aur uske sath notes banane me 6-7 hr. lag jate h..jo ki daily mobile screen ke samne padna aur 7 hr. daily consistent lana bahut mehnat lagta hai.. Agar ek ch. jhut jaye to ek burden sa ho jata h .isi burden ke karan hamari preparation lvl stuck ho jati hai... Iske bad hmlog KZbin par sirf motivational,strategy,how to clear iit jee in 5 month,etc yahi dekhte rhate h. Game addiction bhi ho jata h. Ek yesa samay aata h ki ekdam padhai karte hi nahi h nahi lecture dekhte h aur nahi book udhate hai kyuki backlog ka burden , no competition at home, etc....

Bhaiya mere backlog banne ka reason kuchh aur hai..mera problem solving approach nahi ban pa raha isiliye har question me 15-20 min lag jate hai and still gurantee nahi hai ki solve ho hi jayega aur aisa teeno subject me hai... Bhaiya from now onwards I will do same thing with new topics but what about previous ones hoe should I complete them I had a lot of backlogs like in maths 1. FOM Ex 3 (Pyqs),trigo Ex2,3 , Quadratic equation Ex 3 , Functions Ex2,3 ,ITF Ex 2,3 Sequence and series Ex 2,3 and dpp 2-16 In physics , Geometrical optics Ex2 and Ex 3 part 2 Friction Ex 2,3 Dpps - 9 to 19 In chemistry , organic chemistry IUPAC and isomerism Ex 3 and structural identification whole sheet DPP 2 to 8 I had followed this method but again my backlog is created I think main problem is in my speed and question thinking capacity which is very low otherwise I used to study with my whole energy please suggest me some method to increase my speed and question thinking capacity I am a dropper with no prior preparation in class 11th and 12th I am enrolled in competishun offline classes in jaipur I had to live in a hostel and I also had some medical problems due to which I faced many problems Please reply to my problem

maths - 30% time physics - 20% time chem - 20% time Questions, revision - 30% time Assign yourself according to your timetable. everyday, take 2 hrs or more for revision of what you read that day and all that you've read till now. Also, give some time to stuff like meditation. JEE might fulfill our dreams but the cost is high. It's not money, it's the soul. So make sure you don't pay too much while trying to achieve your dreams. At the end of the day, we realize that what we had been wanting for years is right on our doorstep.

Actually..... When I started preparing for iit, I too didn't understand the importance of iit but now after giving jee mains and other private institute exams, also searching for good colleges, I've come to a conclusion that bits pilani is the only college which is as good as iits in terms of academics, peer group and extra curricular activities. Leaving these colleges, nits and iiits are good colleges, because their fee is less and the peer group we get in them is great. Few private colleges are good, but the problem with them is that they take huge fee, and all people can't afford that fee. But other than that if you are planning to take any random college, then you won't get good peer group and good faculty. Also if you are from iit, people will give you more preference than other non iit candidates. Ultimately, all matters is which branch you want to choose, and where you want to study in that branch. If you are not getting your favorite branch in iits, nits, iiits, then going for good private colleges can be fine, but if you are not getting good, renowned private college admission also, then better do bsc courses rather than going to some random private college which is not so popular, because there you may not get good knowledge and good environment for exploring your subjects. IITs are really great colleges and the students over there get really good advantage over others.

@@lilyflower2171 I'm a bengali medium drop year student.. studying in PW for IIT JEE.. i usually face a problem i can't study at afternoon.. like now.. i feel tired..i feel sleepy.. i really can't afford offline coaching.. that's why I'm studying in online mode.. but there is few problem i faced.. like procrastination.. as like in offline coaching students have competition but in online mode , very less i feel I have any competition.. i don't have any social media.. expect telegram, WhatsApp.. and this KZbin platform.. but sometimes i lost my way.. somedays i studied for long hours.. someday it's less than 1 hour.. as you are my senior.. you have lots of experience,, how can a student manage it in a online mode And build up a good habit of studying ?

@@tuhinbiswas13 if you feel tired in afternoon, then take mock tests in afternoon, also start writing all your mistakes in one notebook. Actually it helped me to improve my percentile by some margin, I did like that but you just try if it works for you. Because what works for me may not work for you and vice versa.
