Have you tried the daring swing shoulder that nakes your primary shoot red arrows? It goes quite well with a pants that increases attack speed when daring swing is used

Instead of grace, use 4p seeds. The damage you get for hitting every 5 times is insane. Its what I used when I was DH. (Most of the time grace wont proc because mobs will die before you start another strife). The proc damage was more than my primary damage.

Thanks for sharing! Im having serious trouble running DH on hellslayer and oblivion pillars (esp against bosses like Summoner) as those negate DH’s range advantage and the class is so squishy. Is there any specific build?

I use this one with the Savior pet and just kill/kite the mobs&boss. If needed, use Massacre Paragon left side for the cheat death.

If you want max strafe dmg output, which out your spinning chakham and for daring swing, change out your offhand lion for hellbinder, change your shoulder for titan snare, and change out your pants for trample hope. Trust me, you'll do a ton more dmg on dummy and c dungeon runs. If you need to have an "escape or dash" for pvp, simply chqnge out and use the same shoulder piece you have. All pieces are still working and supporting each others. As for gems, Imho, I would take mouneskull and berserkers eye out for grim rhythem and trickshot. You'll now have faster atk speed that would "output" dmg quicker and most importantly, you'll now have UNLIMITED strafe. You're welcome.

I tried that Daring Swing version, low key didn’t like it at all and chakram worked better for me in dungs as DPS tho🤣 regarding the gems, I use Universal setup for multiple class, can’t really tweak it for DH, but I don’t think you need Trickshot. Strafe duration isn’t a problem for me anyways

@IndezYT haha! Well, hearing that coming from a "main" barb player, not surprised but whatever, lol! We Test dmg all the time for a long time, that's how we figure things like this out, from dmg, specs, what gems are actually better, to how atk speed actually works, to everything else instead of just testing it here and there then changing to different classes and say we know what were talking about. I used to do 410m dmg per min (in October) before we secretly got nerfed like crazy, only real dh players that test knows when we get secretly nerf when things dont feel right. I went from 411m per min (got video for proof) down to 300m per min. I recently finally got myself up to 394m. My buddy that I've mentioned, that's lower reso than me actually hit 420m per min just the other day yet in c dung I still do more dmg overall, don't know that works haha! Anyways! At the end of the day, like I tell everyone else... do whatever works for you, Once you hit 411m per min, you can come talk to me about your build, haha! Just my 2 cents, thoughts, opinions, and advice on what works for me. Also... believe me, you definitely don't have unlimited strafe haha!

It’s important to understand regarding buildcrafting is that buolds works best for some accounts then others, there are many factors evolved. So if your works best for you, and mine for me, what’s the problem? Aways take builds as a starting point and then adapt and change if needed according to your own account. Also I didn’t say that I have unlimited Strafe, I said that is not a problem for me if managed well

The only burn he's doing is from the combination of eyes ablaze (multishot), explosive arrow, and rolling. Hailfire shoulders doesn't burn, but the rockets does well for breaking shields and dmg. To get a really nice burn effect, use eyes ablaze, hellbinder, and fang splitter. Of course, with explosive arrow and multishot. It's a bit tricky where everything needs to stack. Eyes ablaze only "works" that way because of explosive arrow's little burn AND if hellbinder is included, it'll create a bigger and better "wildfire/explosion" effect. Adding on top of that, best gems to use to make a BIGGER burn effect, use Rolling with Golden with 4p vithu and 4p wildfire, fire and wind will create a firestorm which that firestorm will become a wildfire! It works great for dh cc builds; maw, stormvault, starfire, etc

Awesome. What does it do? (Not in game xD) EDIT: found it. Quarry still has dmg in 1min test due to the fact that Vengeance has big cooldowns. You probably get higher dmg while Vengeance is up but unfortunately can’t keep it up all the time

I was thinking that maybe I was already hitting an attack speed cap, but my DH only has 11.5% attack speed naturally, 4-piece vithus, and the Overloaded legendary paragon that increases primary attack speed by 60% but only for 3 seconds out of 20. Maybe the pants and 4-piece vithus don't stack? With beneficial effects duration increases and cooldown reductions, my Vengeance is up for 11 seconds and down for 7.

Let me explain something! Primary Attack speed bonuses don’t work with PAINSOWER. This is reason why we focus on Attack Speed now. Damage through PAINSOWER has a funky mechanic. Primary Attack damage bonuses affected but not primary attack speed. I been a DH for 2 year, so I’m well aware which skills don’t work together.

I’m pretty sure it does affects. Just tested multiple pants like Runious Path, Cuff’s and Quarry. Best result was Quarry in a 1 min test. Vengeance high cooldown makes it that those essences lose their value when Vengeance isn’t active I think you should try it as well 🫡

Primary atk Speed doesn't work for strafe, only for your slow pew pew regular primary atk speed. "ATTACK SPEED" (like the one shown on your Eyes Ablaze) on the other hand will increase your strafe. Before you use strafe on dummy, check your atk speed. Use buffs/skills and atk dummy. The second that you do go into your stats and it'll obviously show it there. I'm at 81% atk speed which only works on strafe, not my regular primary atk speed. That all your atk speed is probably only coming from vithus and whatever atk speed you added onto your stats
