For everyone interested in this gun: you DO NOT need the long barrel, the gun already has a 50+ meter max damage range without it, and the barrel only adds another 11 meters, it's MUCH MUCH better to take the merc foregrip instead, to make the gun a lot more controllable and a lot more mobile with the hidden movement speed it adds. Additionally, the new season 5 blueprint gives you absolutely fantastic iron sights which lets you keep extended mags and equip the ADS stock, you will not be pushing close range with this gun and it already has AR sprint out speed, and the ADS stock gives a colossal 50 MS ADS reduction as well, the gun doesn't have to be slow, you can make it directly compete with ARs in terms of mobility without losing any lethality

Personally, I use this gun a lot, one change I would make to the class is replacing the 25.4 barrel with the stippleded grip/cqc stock. The SA87 already has the fastest base muzzle velocity in the game so the monolithic alone gets the job done.

This is why I loved bf4 the variety of engagement distances allowed for use of just about any weapons you liked and it's also why I love how warzone plays for the majority of guns can be kitted out to be flexible across a variety of distances and play styles, the ttk is slow enough and most guns are genuinely usable so you can often leverage the terrain to your advantage the recon bounties are a fantastic way to go about doing this

I agree, I used the SA87 of my own to great effect from the beginning. Ironically, it was the mag size that did it for me, the stopping power of an LMG but no need to fiddle with the reload for an hour and a half.

PC94 18 the PKM, M91, Holger, and Bruen are better than this gun and that’s just for the LMG class. There’s a reason nobody runs this gun. It shoots slow, has low damage, small mag, and has a bad ADS speed. This gun is far from a gem. I would love to see more people use this so I can absolutely destroy them and get free kills

I think my favorite thing about Westie's content, is that there's no bullshit in it. Other KZbinrs would go on and on about nonsense to stretch the vid, or show you game play of a weapon that isn't the one in the title. I watched someones MG34 video yesterday, and he spent the whole game using the Bruen, with an MG sitting sadly unused in his pocket. Westie gets right into what you clicked on, and I respect that.

I got it gold purely because of the fact that I have used this rifle on multiple range days and completed field craft and weapon handling test ( knowing how to strip the rifle, clean the rifle and all of the weapon drills etc ) and therefore I somewhat have a personal relationship to this and I like switching my load outs from the “meta” to this from time to time and once put into the correct hands then this can be deadly to summarise in one word. I just wish that this had some sort of buff from how slow this is and even perhaps swapping it to the AR department.

I am so glad you gave the SA87 a go. I like using non meta weapons in CoD and BF. Including this particular weapon. And I have hoped for you, Jack, Stodeh or Tomo to roll this gun. And show people that yes, it is an LMG. It is not as nimble as an AR or SMG. But it absolutely slaps people! I use it in multiplayer as well, a bit like a fully automatic DMR. Good on you Westie. [PC] I just got it to gold. I think it’s pretty good, but it just takes a lot of skill to use. I still love my PKM/RAM-7 loadout. The RAM-7 shreds people in close and medium range with almost no recoil. Love the vid!💯

Sa87 was one of my go to guns in season 4, it's just so powerful more damage than any similar guns. I used a foregrip over the scope as I thought the irons were ok. No one believed me when I said it was good. Glad it's getting some exposure

sa87 can actually be used with the single fire pretty effectively as well. Catch someone at range with the single fire and you can still fire pretty fast but generally with very controllable recoil.

If you REALLy want an off-meta powerhouse....ODEN + Colossus Suppressor + Longest Barrel + Standard Sniper Scope + Stippled Grip + ADS Stock I call it ODEN's Eye, and it absolutely SHREDS in Warzone (just not in solos). It lets you have a MEAN medium range TTK and at long range it works kinda like a light DMR with the tradeoff bonus of using AR ammo

I was about to say it works in solos and duos pretty well, but I tried it warzone and not so much especially when you play with a squad that has a play style where they only want to fight people at really long ranges. You get bruened up too much. I did really well with it in solos and a few times in duos tho. I don't put a scope on it tho cause I like to push medium range fights in solos as much as I can.

Max range SA87 is literally a 3 hit gun in multiplayer. I use it as a marksman rifle with a sniper scope. Will surprise snipers 100% of the time.

I love the sa87 in hard-core, 1 hit kill almost everytime, the only issue I have is the blueprints that have the cooking handle on each side of the upper tmh, because you'd break your jaw every time you fire the weapon, then again i use it as apart of my job so there is also that But if you build it like an assault rifle its decent at close range as well, hip fire is surprisingly good with it, I've hot mine built like the british army standard issue, with the second unlockable barrel, any of the down grips, slight of hand, integrated sight (the one with the red dot on top) and a laser sight to get that aim stubbility

I tried the AK like this: monolithic suppressor, 5.45x39mm ammo, grip with less recoil, slight of hand. This gun is better than the M4 imo. You definitely have to try this. It doesnt look really exotic but it is really enjoyable

I just wish we could get a proper SUSAT sight for the SA87. I always like building my guns to military standards or a real world build(should one exist) for the weapon. Always was a tad bit disappointed it didn't have the option.

Try using AUG with 556 and the Merc Foregrip U got AR Damage with SMG Hip Fire weapon And its a Beast in Warzone and Plunder
