Hi, my name is Tosia Zawadzka and I am a 2nd year IB student in 2slo ib. Some things I am passionate about include literature, Frida Kahlo’s life, and playing tennis. After school, you can often find me listening to music, drinking coffee, or reading a disturbing book. In the future, I would like to study either law, sociology, or business. Speaking and writing are some examples of fields in that I feel confident. I believe that I am open-minded, practical, and hardworking, and I hope to utilize those characteristics in my talk. This is exactly what I think. And this is also why I think we have a tremendous need for young people. That is, people who have not yet got used to thinking that the world must go like this, that there are no alternatives, that everything is normal, or that a few small legislative interventions are enough. Of course, technology advances and we can hope for some miracle, but we cannot think that the only salvation for the economy is a continuous growth in consumption. I can't believe it.
