Hi all - hopefully you like this video. I'm going to be out filming at more castles and historical sites bringing them to you like this in the near future. Apologies for the whispering and also the wind at times, I forgot to put my microphone on my camera! Hope you are all well!

I love this little channel. Visited most of the Welsh Castles and plenty in England. I now live on the South Coast. Yet to visit Arundel and Bodiam. Been to Lewes a few times, the closest Castle to where I live. Most visited Castle, Chepstow. Favourite? Beaumaris. More Welsh Castles please. Love the channel.

Have always wanted to visit here, such a vast and interesting history and the brickwork is spectacular. Such a beautiful day for a visit to a fascinating castle, thank you for taking us around. Loved the moat and the gatehouse! 🤘

Just my own anecdotal account: I find it a lot easier to process the information you share when you speak naturally as you have done so when filming yourself. When narrating I end up focusing on the emphases of each word put at the end of each sentence which changes my attentiveness, especially when I'm tired. Love your work regardless, keep on keeping on!

The fact that a brickwork has stood for so long speaks volumes about the talent of the builders. Were the two floor grates on the top story for pouring hot pitch on invaders? I assume that's why the two fireplaces were there 🤔 Awesome video! You had lovely weather for it ☀️

Even in ruins it's beautiful and would have been amazing if it had been completed.

What An interesting history, being executed in the Tower of London! Reminds me of the Castle of La Ferté Millon, the construction of which was halted when it's owner was assasinated. Really beautiful details on the Castle. Beautiful window crossing. Thanks for taking us along 😁

Not far from where I live and I must go for a visit. I hope you visited Ashby castle while you were in the area as it had the same owner.

Thank you for a fascinating video - the one thing you gain an insight into with ruined or unfinished castles & manor houses is how they were built - or would have been. To think all the beautiful red bricks that you see, were hand made.

I visited this castle after visiting Bosworth, it was closed so I couldn't get to the castle I just looked at it from across the moat.

One thing I’ve learned about staying alive back then is, whatever the king’s agenda is, AGREE! This is an interesting ruin, would’ve been an amazing castle. Gorgeous setting!

To TheFortress: I really enjoy your posts, but here's a modest suggestion: COULD YOU PLEASE SPEAK LOUDER?!? Your narrative is always informative, but it is almost inaudible when you look away from the camera/microphone. Yeah, yeah, I know you forgot to mike the camera. But really, man - I would LOVE to see a re-report about this castle With Full Sound... Cordially...
