@@NotSimo Wait, I did the math wrong. I believed that all of those were 95%. Considering that it was 2x 85% and 1x 95% it was actually 0.1125% to miss all of them one after another. The chance to hit all of them would've been 68.6375% and having at least 1 miss or 1 hit is 31.25%. I have noticed that there were 4 attacks, 1x85% hit, 2x85% missed, 1x95% miss. That would give us a 0.095625% chance of that occuring. I guess today is not a good day to do math for me.

@@MrSquadallah you are even wronger than that, i use to calcul exactly like you, and then i read about the gambler bias. I play tabletop a lot, and a friend made 2 roll at 100 and one at 95, so it would be 1 out of 1 000 000 chance...? then i look up on internet haha Spoiler, as each throw of dice doesnt impact the next one, all throw are therefore independant, you could make 100 throws, if you misses each time, on a 95% you would have 5% for each throw to miss, and... its the same for the whole. Thats why people loose at blackjack, thinking oh yeah, reds was the last 10 result, so lets bet all my fortune on black, that would be 1 out of 1024 chance to not be black ? 2 power 10 right ?.... hehe no, each throw is individual, so its still 50/50.

@@marc7817 Your understanding of the gambler's fallacy is correct, however you are leaning into the opposite bias. Once your friend rolled 2 100s, the probability of rolling a 95 after is indeed 1 in 100, same as the probability of rolling any 1 exact number in 1 try. However, the probability from the start of rolling exactly 2 100s and 1 95 in that order in a row is indeed 1 in 1,000,000, the same probability as rolling any 3 exact numbers in a given order in a row. You have 1,000,000 possibilities in 3 rolls out of which only 1 is desired (3 if the order doesn't matter). As a side note, (you were probably thinking of roulette since blackjack is not about colors, but I will rant anyways), the gambler's fallacy doesn't apply to blackjack, at least not with physical blackjack. It is played with a fixed ammount of packs, therefore having a predetermined number of each card. Drawing cards from the deck removes them from the pool of possible outcomes, skewering the probabilities. In other words, a previous draw does affect the next draw (they are not independent events like dice rolls or coin flips) so the gambler's fallcy doesn't apply to a card counter. Of course, shuffling the used cards back in the deck resets the probabilities and digital blackjack can generate any card it wants, hence you can fall for the gambler's fallacy if you are against a card shuffler or a program. I have PTSD from probabilities in my university days, but they are still a cool subject to read and know about.

The classes are fun, there are some really cool mechanics like the 5 factions, the upgrades to the base, the setting is super cool, and the missions are also cool There is some clunk and jankiness here and there, sometimes there are some minor bugs, but overall it's pretty fun, especially for the price tag
