a great find.......thank you....have a simpleton question regarding why you choose resampling when recording a track? as suppose to doing an audio in type of recording.

The reason I "resample" audio is simply because it's a bit quicker for me to "solo" a track and resample rather than having to search for the track in the "audio in" section.

Why is this young generation so afraid of having no ideas? With all due respect, but the 'ideas' this machine is generating are incredibly easy to come up with yourself. Train yourself musically, maybe press some keys on your keyboard, no not the qwerty, but the one with black and white keys. Think of your ideas, built some identity, find melodies yourself, figure out why you like them, how they work and why they work. Then you will become better, and yes sometimes that is very difficult. Difficult progress is called: training and learning. You and your ideas are so much more valuable than some stupid random depressing sound generator.

Hi Frank. I'd like to emphasise that I do not share these videos as a means to "replace" the traditional way of learning music / melody / harmony theory. It's simply meant to help overcome phases of feeling uninspired, which a lot of musicians face regularly. Rather than taking a theoretical approach to teaching, I look for more fun ways to share things that have inspired me. I understand your point of view but respectfully disagree with it. If you don't like my videos and my approach to music, then just don't watch them. Thanks.

@@lotustunesacademy This is always the answer you get: you are preaching "a theoretical approach to teaching" I'm not talking about that at all. Just pick up your instrument and try to play something really hard, do that for halve an hour a day and after a year you'll make substantially better and more satisfying tracks. This randomness trend is not helping inspiration it's totally killing it and makes people believe they are not capable. For me that is enough reason to react to your video, giving another point of view. But don't worry

hi :) i really enjoy all your tutorials ❤ i wanted to ask if you know how do i sample the first beat of a bar. its like it isn’t recording the first note. Maybe you got a way to figure it out. thx in advance . and keep up the wonderful work of yours , maybe you will do a psytrnce tutorial :)))

Thanks for the comment! That's odd. Make sure to check if you have a fade set to your clip edges. That may be cutting off your sample.
