I have an 85 fixer upper. Collect em while prices are low, they are expected to skyrocket in the future. Most people who say they are bad cars have never owned or even driven one.

That’s what I’m saying. They’re an excellent platform. They just need some love to be brought up to speed. Working on a video now about new vs old cars for price per performance.

Great deal because nobody wants them......worst corvette made imo

I mean - you’re not wrong however I’d vote the C3 as the worst corvettes. Especially the later 70s, early 80s

@@LSxHunter I know everyone hates on those because they weren't fast but the late 70s models boasted the best sales ever..... And just in my opinion I thought it's style reached its Pinnacle with that bubble back.... But I am a sucker for 70s loong hoods...... I wonder if everyone would have loved it if it was 400 horse haha

It’s most definitely the era you grew up in. I’m a sucker for wedge style cars - C4, IROC, GTA, Supra Celica. Most of the 70s cars don’t do a ton for me other than like the Datsuns and GM stuff

@@LSxHunter That's cool.....we are both Gen Xers.....ya I love lots of 80s cars too.....would love a Delorean but can't afford.....I'm enjoying your channel ty

You're all wrong. The late model LT-1 cars are very popular and desirable. You can tune the 95-96 cars with Tunercat and JETS DST. If it wasn't for the C4 era, you wouldn't have the C5 - C-8!! The C-4 set records, look it up. The car is going up in value and being recognized. I have a beautiful fast tuned 96 Z-51 with mods. Before you run your mouth on the internet, edumacate yourself 🤟

We have a 1988 Z51 Corvette sitting beside a 1972 Trans Am and a 2018 Challenger T/A in our garage. 👍

Sounds like a great garage! Anything done to them?

@@LSxHunter The Vett and the Challenger are stock. The 72 T/A appears stock. 4 wheel disc brakes, composite rear leaf springs, moroso frame connectors. Engine has a roller version of the 041 RAIV cam, Eagle forged H beams, Butler valley brace, Holley Strip dominator single plane, Holley 900 cfm sniper under factory cold air hood scoop. Not easy to do btw. Doung Nash 5 speed and 3:08 in the rear. Soon to be 2:73 if the power tour route is close by.

@@LSxHunter The T/A is a family piece at this point. It has been with us for 45 years. Not for sale for another generation either.

2:45 "the C4 typically isn't a winter car so you don't have to worry about rust". Lmao me driving my c4 through the winter shitstorm that hit all of the midwest a couple weeks ago: 🥲
