ive been told that fabled megachelon make rare flowers and mushrooms just like normal megachelon (Giant ugly turtles btw), so that may be something to add to your list to get resources in order. Might be a bad idea to leave base before mating is complete, could be one of the many single player glitches claimed the egg. Dont forget to imprint your thorny before facing the chaos guardian, it helped your kapro before it died imagine how strong thorny with imprint will be!
