he's talked about this before. he pronounces the green owl final evo's name how he wants to since a lot of other pokemon names aren't pronounced the way they're spelled would have you think. milotic that just got brought up in his daily at some point this past week, either yesterday or wednesday, and while i'll still pronounce decidueye the way it's spelled i'll change my pronunciation of milotic.

Can anyone explain the significance of slow/fast kills in relation to the trainer AI?

Some Definitions: Fast Kill: if a pokemon is faster and has a move that can kill Slow Kill: if a pokemon is slower and has a move that can kill If a pokemon has Fast Kill it will click it almost 100% of the time (some very rare exceptions) Jan uses this to bait the AI into getting the pokemon to use specifics moves that he has counters for. For Example, say he is in a double battle and both the pokemon have a flying attack, he'll put in Combusken with detect, it'll detect, and both the enemies moves will be nullified and his heavy hitter in the other slot will crush them both. In other cases he uses this to get pokemon safely onto the battlefield by using pivoting. For example, the pokemon has a one hit kill with thunder in the rain, he knows this so he will pivot to a ground type that is unaffected, sometimes he has to string multiple of these together to get to the actual pokemon he wants, because if he were to just go straight to the specific pokemon it would instead take 65% of it's life on a move that is neutral instead of like 15% on a move that is weak

As for Slow Kill: If the AI has slow kill but you have fast kill, it knows this and will pick a priority move instead, like quick attack or shadow sneak. The AI also knows if you have fast 2 hit kill and will try and get any amount of damage in on you instead of doing setup moves
