Just an FYI the El Fuego is the most OP body, it multiplies the stages effect, combine that with the sonic bursts and you reach insane speeds and height/distances in an instant.

The best way to manage weight is mixing a dark matter with a pengu balloon. Idk if you have it unlocked but the dubstep drive is like several of the sonic engines in one. I think it fits your playstyle of the game well.

id recommend putting both the dark matter and the wings on the boost slot dark matter reduces the weight wings increase top speed when making very stupid and crazy builds, top speed is very much your friend

I said this before and I'll say it again, you can unlock everything in the game with around 30 hours of gameplay, you DO NOT need to spend money on this game, but if you want to support the developers or unlock things a bit quicker, no one is stopping you.

For the normal modes, weight only applies where the lift capacity of the engines is involved. If the weight is less than their capacity (and yes, as those stages are consumed their weight is dropped off), then you don't need to reduce it any more. Things get a little funkier when it comes to the payload challenges. El Fuego + 4 sonic bursts = plaid speed

Use Elfuego (body) and omega coil (launcher) get 4 sonic bursts (stages) 1fins 2 fuel canisters and 1 dark matter (all boosts) and upgrade everything as much as you can PS if you hold shift and click upgrade it upgrades the item as much as it can with the money you have

Hold the down arrow to keep the stages from firing. You can time the stages better that way and make it further.

If you want even less weight, you can pick the pixel as a bullet, especially with sonic bursts its even better. by pixel i mean the body thats whole white, whole cubes etc.

CORRECTION the most OP body is the green one… it has the highest max speed in the game and when the wings boosters are abused to increase it further and you use the sonic burst, you can literally clear any of the game modes in seconds

Hey DF, for horizontal movement, 45 degrees(halfway between vertical and horizontal) is the best angle, because it gives you the perfect balance between speed and time travelled.

That's true in real life but not in this game, kinda. The reason for this is that speed doesn't increase as you propel the rocket it remains constant. Also there is a soft cap for max speed (due to wind resistance mechanics). If you look at his speed you'll notice the green bar turn red. In this game it means that increasing his speed from there becomes exponentially harder. For the largest distance remaining mostly horizontal with enough lift to fight gravity is perfect because it gives you max speed at a horizontal line. (incoming comment about some advice for DF)

So DF sadly this comment is coming probably during the last or one of the last episodes but couple things to consider when building your rocket. So speed in this game is soft capped. Once you start to hit the red its a lot harder to go faster. Basically you always want your bar at max green. If its not at max green you need more power or less weight if it is some red you need one of 2 things, more top speed (which you can get from fins or upgrading your ship OR something I noticed you got in your cards the money turbine. The money turbine will make you go slower but give you a multiplier to your cash earned :D. Also you can sell the stuff that turns gray when you choose a new body to regain money since those things are no longer active. TL:DR The game has a speed cap if your speed is in red you need top speed or drag fins/a better body/the money turbine (or multiple) if your speed doesn't fill up the green you need more power/less weight/less money turbines

If you want to get a lot of money speed run style put as much sonic burst as you can with the body that has the best max speed you've got and money turbines in boosts (idk if you got them). Then just use the sonic bursts and abort (runs are really short and you'll get about 200k each time)
