Love these Air Raid Passing Concept videos. There is a good amount of Air Raid videos on KZbin so it's fun to watch these videos come to life on Saturdays whenever I watch Mississippi State haha. Would love more of these Air Raid videos!

That play appears to be incredibly tough to stop. You'd have to have superior talent to stop the air raid system. At the least slow it down. The system is designed for teams with lesser talent. Which is why an air raid offense hasn't won a national title unfortunately. Usually it's a lack of line talent. Between the 20's it can be brutal to stop. It's the red zone where most air raid teams fall short. Maybe the QB feels more pressure and goes through his progressions faster like in the play above. Maybe there's less room to operate in an compact field and that can lead to coverage sacks. I do enjoy watching the offense when it's ran correctly. It's like a video game come to life. It's a QB and a WR dream system. Just not so much for the RB or the offensive lineman. My opinion to stop the air raid is 4 pass rushers and drop 7. Whether that's 4 down linemen or 3 and a blitzing LB or DB. Dare the offense to run. Sorry for the long extended rant. I do enjoy your videos, keep up the great work.

Thanks Louis. The key is mix up the rush and get pressure along with mixing up the looks to throw QB off his progression. Air raid is great in the open field with plenty of grass. As the grass gets more compressed it’s tougher in tight windows.

What do you run when your O-line situation doesn't allow your QB time to get to any reads? What works best with a poor O-line?

What is your opinion when comparing the Air Raid to the Run and Shoot? What similarities to you see, and if any, what makes one system better than the other?
