It doesn't matter, but you're supposed to bend the narrow part a bit. They say you're less likely to touch your nose with it, and the counter won't get sticky when placed down. You write down the fragrance in the large part so you don't get them mixed up when trying out.

Gambit's my absolutely favorite from the house of Mind Games because it's suitable for all occasions. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love French Defense and Grand Master, but Jacksonville weather don't play around, and I won't be wearing those in a month or two. Hypnotizing Fire is absolute 🔥🔥 same with Yin Transformation from The Harmonist. I don't think The Harmonist get's enough credit but they make some great frags but they're obviously not cheap but so worth the money based on the quality of frags they put out. Good call though, Dedrick definitely needs to try HF for sure...so so good! 💯🔥🔥🔥

Just picked up my first Mind Games tonight. En Prise from the perfumer and creative director Christelle Laprade. A very different vetiver and saffron scent. Unique and unlike anything I have in my collection. The extrait allows the vetiver to be long lasting.

Damn man you've done my two favorite from the soulmates collection and the entire house in general. Its interesting, French Defense and Gambit have very similar heart, and both have woody amber and earthy heart. Gambit is absolutely the most versatile and masculine of the house. It reminds me of a younger gentleman's Bois du Portugal. Very classy, sophisticated, yet sexy at the same time. The Amber Xtreme in the base I believe really impacts the performance. It is loved by both women and men that have smelled it on me (in very different ways). I am experimenting with Layering this with French Defense, among with a few others. I have Grand Master from the OG but am looking at picking up Blockade which I loved the smell 10/10 but the performance was not what I wanted. But I want to experiment with layering it on top of Cheeky Smile by Jusbox (It made Afternoon Swim by LV last for 4x its normal longevity). I have worn Gambit 5 full wears so far and I give it a 9.5/10 just because of what it is. It isn't polarizing, but it is extremely effective and amazing for its purpose.
