Welcome to my grand finale of Hermitcraft season 9 and completing my mega Minecraft theme park called Scarland. The massive Minecraft base build took nearly 2 years to build on the Hermitcraft server and in this episode, we finish the park. Scar, i think you should continue it in a creative world. Its probably best for your mental health and would allow you to maximize your creative without as much risk of burnout from having to gather resources all alone on the server. I think it make the videos more unique since we dont really get to see most of the hermits in their actual design process. It might make the videos feel more like bob rossy if you get what i mean

I agree that creative may be better. We saw what could be done in survival, and it was an accomplishment. But I think to continue in survival (though I like it because of the creative confines) would add too much grind and difficulty that could take away from the creativity of it at this point.

However long it takes, I know we all would love to see the completion of your vision for Scarland. While I think doing it in survival would be a fun and challenging achievement, you should do it in whatever way inspires you to do it, whether that is survival, creative, or even with mods like Create to bring your vision of the rides to life if you wanted. I think I can safely speak for all of the viewers when I say that we just want to see you complete it in whatever format you want to do it.

Absolutely agree. I think creative mode or with create mod would be amazing. I know we all enjoy a good grind, but trying to balance this project with whatever is in store in season 10 seems like a lot. I think it’s safe to say we want see what Scars vision was for the park, and I don’t care if he uses creative mode to achieve that.

i don't have any one specific favourite build in scarland, but i adore all the attention given to the places that visitors wouldn't normally see in a theme park. it's a factor in the builds that could easily be shrugged off as being unimportant, but your passion for every aspect of creating a theme park filled every nook and cranny you could manage with life and personality

Seeing them getting excited over being represented in a comfortable and nostalgic video game, and over seeing how you get treated just like everyone else on the server, and especially how you manage to bring a dream to life that you thought was stolen from you by your disabilities, and the hope you bring, makes me excited too. I've enjoyed your content for almost 2 years now, and as much enjoyement your content brought me, no enjoyement was greater than seeing my friends feel happy and hopeful, because of you. My favorite memory of building Scarland is when Doc made the perimeter PA system to audition to be your engineer and how you reacted to it throughout that episode lol. And then he didn't even get the job xD. The maintenance bay was simply inspired. I was a technician at a manufacturing company and it felt very much like my workspace.

Scar, I know you won't want to hear this but you can't use the red cross even to show thats the health clinic. It's actually a violation of the Geneva convention and the red cross has a habit of coming after people because of this. Just a heads up. The saddest part of season 9 ending for me was that Scarland wasn't finished. I am so happy to hear that you are thinking about finishing it anyway. I think doing it in creative is a great idea! Honestly, not a specific moment but i adore the square-leafed trees around the castle. It's just so unique and contributes to the fantasy-esque style surrounding the castle. All of Scarland is so immaculately detailed; I could walk through it a thousand times and still not notice all the details you put it. Kudos to you Scar, i know you're disappointed it wasn't finished but it's an incredible accomplishment. You deserve so much love

My favorite part of Scarland was when you explained how you used inspiration from a disney artist to create the trees and when you created the mountain! I also loved the part when you made that giant storage system, when you got other hermits to make little builds as workers, and when you got all those cute treats like the popcorn balloons and hats! It was so magical to see the creation of Scarland sincerely

Totally agree with @trash_queen, Scar: you should continue building on Scarland in Creative. Just as a fun little thing to do, to keep building. It made you So Happy to build, and it made us happy to watch you build it. No matter what mode you build it in, we'd watch it, because we love watching you. I'm so sorry for your loss, Scar. I don't have words. Every cat and dog loss is different, and feels like it's going to shred you to pieces with the grief of it. The rainbow bridge is a small comfort when your cat was that comfort to you and more. What a long life she had, and a glorious one. May your grief eventually soften to something that can be carried---much like a brown shulker box in your back pocket.

I’d definitely love to see this project continue in creative. At this point, the only reason to continue in survival rather than creative would be for bragging rights, it wouldn’t add anything to the build. Continue in creative since you will no longer have to worry about the economy (but at the same time wont have any shops to get things that are tedious to farm). It would also save your mental health to not have to grind in two worlds if you are going to also be part of the next Hermitcraft. The best parts for us are seeing your creativity flowing and marveling at the amazing builds you do. And when you finish the main areas; upload it to a server for all the hermits to explore like a class fieldtrip! It would be a wonderful walk down memory lane for them with all the easter eggs (you could even get copies of eggs from incoming events in the next seasons to hide in there too!). We as viewers would be able to tour with them from the viewpoints of new visitors to the park! You can even sell tickets in the next hermitcraft series, and then visit Scarland like when yall did the collab and jumped through grians Rift. Fieldtrips are always a highlight and a fun break from the grind :) And theirs nothing quite like the excitement of walking in with a group of your best friends. Scarland is amazing, and it has been a wonderful trip watching it be built piece by piece with you. All your hard work and attention to detail just blows my mind. Thank you bringing us into your wonderful world.

Thank you so much Scar for an amazing Season 9. It's crazy to think about that you joined in on almost all of the Shenanigans on the server whilst putting so much love and effort in your passion project Scarland and even participating in a lot of side series and events. The charity event was also huge. A big thank you for all of that. Please know that you're always loved and we will cherish you no matter how many videos you put out in a month. Merry Christmas to you and your family and I'm praying for a joyful 2024 and a good year for you in regards to your health.
