Welcome to Hermitcraft season 10 - Episode 1! I start out big with our Minecraft Let's Play Ep 1 on the Hermitcraft S10 server with a massive steam train as my Minecraft starter base. The train will be my home as I establish my survival base and build a mega Zoo base. I will collect every mob in Minecraft and make them a dedicated biome. This is going to be a big challenge and I can't wait to get started!

Chunk-align all of your enclosures for this season, Scar. Even 'nametagged' mobs can disappear if they wander into unloaded chunks Then if the game is saved without that chunk being loaded, your game is saved without the mob in either chunk (this is how bees and villagers disappear so easily). Cant wait to see you Zootopia :D

​@@NefariousHippie Thank you :) Mobs also target the Northwest corner of a block when pathfinding to it. Search NW chunks that you dont often travel to if you're losing your animals, That's where Doc's bees went in Season 9 and one of the Ghast he pranked Grian with. Happy Zoo-Keeping :D

So the type of engine Scar has built is a 4-4-0, also most commonly called an American. These were early steam main line express engines until around the early 1900's when they started making bigger fireboxes and needed to add trailing wheels to the arrangement. If he sticks to that era, we could be seeing some more turn of the century style buildings coming from him for the rest of his base. Which I for one am A-Okay with, as he really seems to shine at those.

I think a natural environment for a creeper would be either a sparse forest with high grass and sugar canes everywhere, plus abundant sand and water or sandier version of lush cave, because creepere are canonically very plant-like. They even explode to disperse and fertilize their seeds.

Agreed, losing that many resources costs a lot of time and puts someone back by a LOT. Cub and Scar have always been good buddies though (one of my favorite duos of all time) and Cubs a pretty chill guy, so they probably worked something out off camera/Cub is figuring something out in between episodes, so I’m just waiting to see :)

Creepers are meant to be camouflaged, so dense vegetation would look good; and combining the pitcher plant & torch flower into a prehistoric jungle would be a great setting for the prehistoric Sniffers.

I think the natural habitat of a creeper is a desert. That because what is tnt made of? Sand and gunpowder. Where do you find sand? A desert. Desert temples use tnt for traps and what is the only natural way to get gunpowder? Creepers

On the other hand they are most camouflaged by the dense foliage of the jungle. (And official lore is they are made of dried leaves) Alternatively a cave/ravine because drop creapers are the most lethal.

There is evidence in the game that the desert temple civilization had some connection to creepers. Maybe they created them, maybe they revered them, it's hard to say. But the influence of that culture can be found in villages. If you look closely at a priest, on the back of their robes is a creeper symbol in purple, much like the yellowish ones in the desert temple.
