I don't mind when reactors pause the video, because while you may be watching the video *alongside* them, you are mostly here for the *reactor,* no? Pausing the video lets them get their thoughts and predictions out, without talking over the video or missing a vital piece of context. Although I do understand that overdoing it on the pauses can get annoying and ruin the "atmosphere" of the video, like when watching a horror / terror video. The Oldest View for example, let the intense moments play out and when the person in the video gets a breather, pause the video and take a breather for yourself. Wait until the video *ends* before you go back and analyze it further so you only have the information you caught on the first time you watched it, instead of noticing a minor detail that changes how you see the rest of the video because you went back to look at the monster's design.
