Been replaying DD1 with my partner, she had never played before but like tower defence, it has me feeling like a kid again man, I love this series, it couldn't of been more perfect to watch through while I wait between sessions to remember all the goodness!

The reason the devs focus on endgame content is because the game has a very very small tight knit community who are literally all endgame players, hell even the devs themselves are endgame players, its rare that this game gets new players, and if you ask me, i dont think its a problem that new content is endgame, theres plenty of stuff for casual new players to experience in the early and mid game

I bought this game on the Xbox 360 marketplace in July 2024 as it looks graphically brilliant for an old game.

This game is super ahead of it’s time, Trendy truly had some of the best devs that were slept on in terms of how they bent Unreal Engine to their will. I’d reccomend messing with the graphical settings before boot because there are problem some detailing settings that might not be on.

I made this mistake and ended up sticking with my local character, it's nice to have one you can play offline with but I will definitely make all my alts online.

Ughhh I just beat the ramparts level and got to level 30 and now I gotta do everything again. Thats okay I can better distribute my stats, made the mistake of maxing out a weapon early

Theres no protection at all agaisnt hacking btw in ranked. Thats why I always play solo or with someone that I trust

Literally everyone has made the mistake of starting on local and realizing they shouldve been playing on ranked, youre lucky you didnt put that much time into it lol, i only put about...8-12 hours in before switching to ranked, so not that bad, but other people have put HUNDREDS lmao

I played my first playthough on local... level 100's, large diamonds. then PC offed it self and cloud was months behind
