I do love the porches. My only problem is it takes away from interior floor space. You can always add a large covered porch later. You can't really add interior living space.

This size home can sacrifice some interior space for porches but, yeah it should be optional especially on homes with a smaller footprint. It also just now occurred to me there may be building envelopes if it is going to be a park home in which case included porches could be a good option. This is my Zen channel. Namaste G😌

I just realized at the beginning of the video you said you would show us 'everything'! Except for the occasional pantry or utility room you do. I have seen some 'tours' where the guy is going through the house so fast it is unbelievable and some all you see of a bedroom is what he shows through the door as he walks up the hall! Awww Chance! You're definitely family! You know I have an utter love for caravans, as we call them here in England, or mobile homes if they're this kinda size! Anything "caravan" just appeals to me. Yours is the best channel for mobile homes because you're showing the layout and not trying to butter us up with a hard sell! You show them because you love them, no ulterior motive. You are a much looked-forward-to part of my week! Franklin homes are knocking them out the park for sure! Hands down the best all round manufacturer that you've shown us! I love how they create curves and off-set views of the rooms. You can only ever see the room you're in with a hint of the other rooms peeping behind a half wall or angled doorway, whereas other mobile homes are right in your face as you step inside and then there's nothing to discover because you see it all. Franklin still manage to build completely open concept layouts, but with enough separation between areas to create individual rooms. I like that! Others are too boxy and lack imagination. I personally think this home could benefit from another toilet, if I owned this I'd remove the pantry shelves and fit a toilet and hand basin in there instead, what you'd call a half bath. Day visitors can use that rather than fighting with the occupants of 3 bedrooms to take turns using that one bathroom. There's more than enough cabinets in that kitchen already without needing the pantry space imo... And extra shelves could be added to the adjacent laundry room anyway if absolutely necessary. That master suite is a work of genius design! Give that person a design award! The bathroom especially is beautiful, and so luxurious! I love that laundry cupboard too! Perfect for shoving all dirty sheets, towels, clothes neatly out of sight and not needing a separate laundry bin, and being able to access them on the laundry room side! It's those little touches that make a house into a well functioning home! Den, you say...? I didn't see a den...? OHHH you mean my craft room, yes? 😁 Yeah, that's exactly what I'd use that room for! And have my own little porch for a cigarette and latte break in between making and sewing things! In fact a home this well thought out is perfect for an extra lil porch being added off the master bedroom too! Perfect for morning coffee in the sunshine. So aside from adding an extra toilet, and maybe a master bedroom porch, this home has pretty much got it all! AND the fixtures and fittings Franklin uses are way above others in their quality, that's a detail that really stands out I think. From the exterior cladding, the fireplace, the kitchen cabinets, tiles, taps and everything else, they certainly don't try to get away with the cheapest options on the market! Nor do they then add those costs extortionately into the end price! For all your videos, Franklin homes are way ahead of the other manufacturers by a mile! Eagerly awaiting your next upload Chance! Chance you are a trooper. I went to look at manufactured homes this weekend in 90+ degree heat. I had to sleep the rest of the day because I overheated. I couldn't do what you're doing! haha i can attest to this! We have a laundry chute in our family home and my brother and i used to climb up and down it all the time as kids. it was our little secret passage. Later, we discovered a hole in the wall that became our place to hide our secret stashes from our older sibs.

The tv feature wall is really nice. The wood with the stone is awesome. The den is nice to have for holiday dinners and company. If it were mine, I would use it as an exercise space. Because there are three additional bedrooms, one of those could be an office. That is one of my favorite bathrooms. That shower tile is put together well.

I love this house with three exceptions: 1. Prefer sink against wall with window in kitchen. 2. Do not like tub in front the door in master. Tub and shower needs to move back to exterior wall with window and vanities and storage near door. Also a second closet would be nice to the right of the door. 3. Create a room behind family room for guest bathroom and make it slightly larger. Porch door can stay next to family room. Also put a door to close up the family room from the hall because it would be my Sewing/craft room and needs to be closed so pets can’t get in. Was there a coat closet in the living room? Saw a door you didn’t open. Would be nice to have a space for a freezer in utility room. I love the back porch. Too bad it can’t be extended to the sliding door. Would love to see a roof over small porch for front door.

Beautiful home. The den for us would become our library with floor to ceiling bookshelves on the one wall with his and hers desks and a printer. Hubby is a minister with lots of Bibles and commentaries and I do family genealogy so we need a place. Bedrooms would be 1 guest room, 1 exercise workout room and 1 room for an office for husband to work from home in as his day job has transitioned to fully work from home status. Actually, he did show the whole place. There are only two bathrooms. The first one he showed was at the far end by the family room. He called it the guest bath. It's really too far from the main living area, in my opinion. Otherwise I like the home a lot.

The back area guest section would be perfect for elderly parents. They would have their own area, but be close for care. This is a nice home overall, but it's not a favorite for me. I like that it has a walk-in pantry, but it's placement makes it feel more like a coat or storage closet than a kitchen pantry. I think you might have a lot of people or kids checking out your pantry the way it's situated. I was going to say I'd move or take out that small cupboard in the laundry room before I knew it was a laundry access from the master bath. I still might not want to have those doors there. It doesn't seem like it offers a lot of space for access with the washer right there, but maybe it would work okay. I wasn't super excited about the master bath either. It was all right. I'm not sure how I feel about seeing the tub right there when you walk in. I also wasn't a fan of the fancy tiles in shower - too busy and mismatched for me. They also remind me of a home a family member bought a few years ago that had similar tiles that were put in when that house was built or last upgraded, probably in the 1970s. It looked like they tried to showcase too many things with the different tiles in the shower and the pebble shower floor. On the subject of pebble style shower floors, I really liked the look of them so I did some research, and a designer wrote an article essentially begging people not to put in the pebble shower floors. Apparently, you have to have a really deep slope to the drain to optimize water drainage from the shower, and the pebbles and grout tend to get and stay pretty grody because of the way the water often tends to collect. Aesthetically, the person said that if you don't have an installer willing to take the time to manipulate the pebble design a little when placing them, as opposed to just dropping the sheets of pebbles in a grid formation, that it can look more like a grid than the random pebble look that is more appealing and natural looking. She said that it especially stood out when the pebbles cover a larger surface area. Hmmm... Twister in the master bedroom... 🤔 That could get naughty... 😉 Keep being you, Chance, you are a wonderful person, and I always enjoy your videos and authenticity. Hope your mom is doing great! 🙂

This home is very nice. I like the color of the kitchen cabinets and I would use the back room for a sewing craft room, because there is plenty of light. This is an example of better separation of main living spaces. During family get- togethers, the ladies tend to congregate in the kitchen while the men hang and watch the game. I think this works out for everyone.

I bought a Clayton Tru Anniversary in 2017. It didn't come with gutters. I sure wish it did! I have had terrible leaks in my windows. Much of which would have been prevented if I would have had them.

This is a large home suitable for a big family. I really like the square porcelain sinks in the bathrooms. And this is the first time I have noticed a soaker tub with a built in hand shower - that's a wow. Love the back porch off the den. Love the huge master bedroom. What I didn't like - no coat closet, guest bath door opening directly into the den, awkward - that's a deal breaker for me for sure. I would change those rough raw wood kitchen cabinets for white cabinets like those in the bathrooms. As always, Chance, you do a great job showing these homes. You are just so fun to watch, like going on a tour with a good neighbor to offer some sincere helpful advice! Blessings to you and your family.

I like the front door and then that kitchen WOWED me! Love those cabinets! The sliding glass doors in the dining room are great as well. Nice room and layout. Too big for my needs but very nice.
