I liked the earlier versions of Undead Legacy, but I was disappointed that the giant mechanized robots never.. well.. did anything. Instead we got big radiated scorpions. And then all the crafting became so complicated that it felt like a part time job trying to outpace the threats with finding "puzzle piece" that was missing from my crafting progression. I will certainly have another go at it when it comes out for version one.

My favorite mods are the bundle or stack, game options, weapons, large service lift, the the vehicle mods, and the illict drugs and beverage mods.

Im Actually currently on a survivalist difficulty playthrough of UL in anticipation for the Alpha 22(V1) update and i agree with you 100%. One of my top two favourite overhaul mods (cant decide between UL and DF since both are amazing, so they share first place.

and don't forget the liquid system! u need a container for liquids because u can't take water from natural recources (f.e. lake, river or pool) here! i always wanted to have ressource blocks (instead of stacks) to store in a storage room or basement. the more u bunker the more room u need and the more room u need the more u have to defend. + zombies need to aim of destroying these blocks and zombies should eat everything. also good food. they need to eat your farm and aim for food storages... that would be amazing

Love this mod! It really slows down the game progression to a crawl. Even on easy settings, it's super difficult. The only thing I don't like is the weight system. Yeah it's more realistic, but doesn't mix well with how the game is focused on resource gathering. Your backpack can be empty with only stone in it, but the stone is so heavy u can barely move. I think recipes need more balance because of this. U cut down a few trees and can barely move! After playing rebirth, I can't play the game without craft from containers, quick stack, and remote quick stack.

U.L. makes the game more realistic. And you actually pick flowers here instead of slamming into it to get them. But the game get so much updates now, the maker behind UL can't keep up.

UL is brilliant because of the focus of its changes, and the consistency of them. SubQuake has done an amazing job, and I would rank UL as being the top overhaul mod, well above others. However, there is an elephant in the room, and it's the base game the overhaul is for. A20 is poor in comparison to A21 or V1.0 as it's missing lots of optimisation, as well as the graphical updates. This is no fault of SubQuake, they had a plan, were on that plan and TFP blind-sided them somewhat. I really hope they manage to get it updated to 1.x, although no guarantees of that. As it is just now, I find playing UL unsatisfying. Which is a crying shame as I dislike almost every other overhaul, for one reason or another.

interesting, I might give the game an update from A21 if all my favorite mods have updated versions. Currently loving this huge service lift mod for my vehicle and just sheer badass looking gameplay

Yeah, this mod has so many of the things I wanted with 7D2D. I don't care for mods with crazy monsters, like darkness falls. Though I did enjoy DF.

How does this compare to Rebirth. So far that's the most polished one. Super hard

Rebirth is good but this version has been the most polished for a long time. Just that Subquake has taken forever in getting it out.

Played this in the Alpha build it was really good but Rebirth is head and shoulders above everything else.
