Everyone raved about 2021 being one of the greatest F1 seasons ever, and rightfully so, but if you truly want the greatest season ever, look no further than 2012. At different points in that season any one of about four or five drivers would've felt they had a decent shot at the title, six different teams won races, eight different drivers, including seven different winners in the first seven races. Those levels of parity were just incredible, and it's taken 12 years for us to get back to anything even resembling that, let alone matching or beating it.

2021 season wasn’t even good, it was overrated and overhyped by the fans, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2017 and 2018 were much better seasons than 2021

@@ransomsdp yeah 2021 season is only really thought of as a great season because of the title fight, the on track product really wasn't too special and there quite a few dull races.

NASCAR has done a whole throwback weekend as well at Darlington every year since 2015. It’s so cool seeing different old paint schemes from different eras of the sport. I didn’t know MotoGP did one this year, but that’s awesome. And I think F1 would be amazing with doing a whole throwback weekend to whatever era of the sport they want. I also think IndyCar should do the same thing as a diehard fan. But an F1 throwback weekend would be awesome!

With a texture mod like this with engine sounds and everything it would be perfect if there was also a way to remove the Halo and the wings on top of the front tires, they kind of break the immersion of the Mod, it's just weird.
