If I was going to relate each of the Characters (Defect, Ironclad Watcher and Silent) to one of the DND classes I'd say: Ironclad = Barbarian. Can be a very heavy hitter, but is also very unafraid of getting hit themselves. Silent = Monk. Lots and lots of chip damage, one may argue Monk for The Watcher and Rogue for Silent, but the only caveat is that while flavour wise I'd be obligated to agree, The Silent isn't really about being sneaky and hitting heavy, rather getting lots and lots of ways to do lots of things like how a monk (on paper) is great at getting to do lots and lots of attacks. Watcher: Ranger. Very under appreciated and specialises in a certain stance/environment/battle in a way I find to be similar. Defect = Wizard. I'm not sure who will argue with me on this, but the defect is quite overly complicated for a newcomer and has a lot of things they want to do, be it: channeling as many orbs as possible or gaining as much focus or saving one dark or for one massive attack, like how wizards have lots of spells with lots of different ways to play it. If anyone disagrees/has a better option I'd like to know... 😊
